actually, non-chinese players can enter a (fake) passport number. as in, any random garble of letters and numbers. I successfully did it this way when signing up for blade and soul. QQ, Interpol and FBI have not cared about me every since :p. Follow through Step 3 here for a clean qq account register:

having played an chinese action mmo that was really ping-dependent (blade and soul)… I’m not sure if it’s worth it trying to play a fighting game. the lag from us to china is pretty fragile… I’m pretty sure it’s not worth it. I’m not gonna jump through a bunch of hoops like 20 days on qq just to enter a lagfest
