Xiaoyu Critique Thread

Hey everyone-

I got this idea from the SF4 ibuki forums, I thought this thread was pretty great there so I figured we could recreate it here.

Welcome to the Critique Thread. Just post replays of either yourself or another Xiaoyu not doing too well.

What we talk about:

1. Match-up knowledge, or lack thereof.
2. Poor decision making.
3. When posting a video, also tell us what you think you did wrong. You’re less mindfucked than you think.

1: Give a general summary of the obvious weaknesses about yours or another’s Xiaoyu.

2: Say why something was a bad idea by stating the benefits of another option. For example: instead of punishing a blocked Ultra with st. MP, storming flower, list a more damaging knockdown that puts you in a better position. Don’t talk about not going for stupidly hard combos for a bit of more damage, or just say “auto-pilot” without elaboration.

These steps should help both the persons giving and receiving critique.

Woot. Great idea. I don’t have any kind of capture card or anything of the sort but it’ll be useful to see ways around what are bound to be common mistakes.
