Contemplating on buying aa New 3DS this Black Friday/Christmas season. Is it required to play the other Xeno games to enjoy this one?
Nah. This is a successor to the OG Xenoblade but the OG game isn’t a pre-requisite to understand this one. Just same brand, completely diff story, world, with some common elements. like how FF games are released.
Only Xenos you gotta play in a succession is the 3 Xenosaga games.

But you should still get the N3DS and play Xenoblade.
MEEEEEEW! mew mew mew mew MEEEEEW!!! my hyping of games is no less legit than anyone else that doesn’t get paid but feel something deserves more attention than it’s getting. I’m literally not telling people to buy it. just saying it’s cool, have valid reasons why it’s so awesome, and even companies like Capcom could learn a thing or two from this. Like what if Capcom makes a Street Fighter rpg like this? you know everyone would wanna get it. You know I see discussion boards with hyped titles similiar to the topic here, and they aren’t getting paid, they aren’t called shills by the board members.

It’s ironic that Xenoblade X surpasses the games that inspired it. that’s how you “absorb what is useful, discard what is not, add what is uniquely you own”, and raise the standards while making it enticing for everyone and a wider demographic, instead of those dumbass developers in the industry that only cater to one type of person. More genres besides fighting games should learn from these things.

My limited edition will be in this week. I probably won’t boot up the game until I get a hard drive for the other install packs. Probabaly wont wait though, been fiending for this game tough
I ended up cancelling my limited edition. The extra $30 is not worth a thumb drive and an art book. It’s just not.
As excited as I am for this I’ve barely even scratched the surface of Xenoblade chronicles for 3DS so I doubt I’ll even touch chronicles X until I beat it.

The hard drive shit is a legit complaint. Most complaints I’ve seen for this game are just little shit like the name changes. And if you go on Gamefaqs or etc there are niggas legit doing this anti censorship parade of the option to choose bust size for a female being gone and the reavling outfit on Lyn being covered up a bit, niggas legit going ham over that shit wtf
