Xenoblade Chronicles X countdown. The RPG that places Nintendo back on top in the industry

It’s godlike. The animations are just…

[list]
[] Transform Animation - Drops down as if it were going to do push ups
[
] Flying Boost Animation - Sprouts wings
[] Running Animation - Tip toes, then skates like Shadow the Hedgehog
[
] Exit/Idle Animation - Bows on one knee
[/list]

Not to mention this motherfucker has nunchucks. It literally goes Bruce Lee on people :nunchuck:. I love this thing.

Getting the materials for the Augments I need is a bitch. It’s not hard because lolAres90lol, but it’s tedious.

Man I’m staying the fuck outta here non spoiler tagging sons of gat dammit

From what I’ve seen the Ares 90 breaks the game, so I’m not gonna bother crafting it.

Nah. It’s powerful, but there are things it cannot take down. The Lv60 crafted Skells are actually stronger than the Ares 90 when geared up.

Wow… I just found out that you can play as other characters if you switch them to first in your party list.

I haven’t been engrossed this deep in a game to lose track of time since the firs Mass Effect. I played til 5 am last night thinking it was maybe midnight. This game is fucking amazing. I literally have trouble playing a game longer than 1 to 2 hours and I can’t stop playing this. Definitely GOTY contender. I completely stopped playing Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3.

Yeah, you can go in and say I am just going to hang around for a hour and wind up playing for 3 - 5+. So much stuff to do and at your own pace a leisure in some ways. Earlier today I was just flying around Primordia now that I got the flight skell and a random Tyrant named Thunderclap or something damn near shot me down. Luckily the skell survived and I managed to get out so that I can be killed but not have to use a salvage ticket or pay for it.

Especially these days now that Prospectors are no longer the instant win among getting first in divisions that they were previously.

Fun little script here. Allows you to let your computer optimize your FN layout.

The layouts it spits out are bizarre but work. Enter your current list of probes, amend the site list for any sites you haven’t probed, and let 'er rip. Be sure to run it from command line though, 'cause the output is in the prompt, and if you run it from Windows, it’ll close before you get the results.

Also, for those who have completed this mission and are post chapter 11…

Definian Downfall. [details=Spoiler]I can’t even really TRY to do this mission, ‘cause I just can’t survive the basic mobs here. I’ve been largely focuses on skell combat, which I understand makes this a huge problem, but damn… these guys are kickin’ my ass. Right now runnin’ with Elma/Lin/Murderess, all in their low 50s, while I’m 57. I can take on, like, 2 of the guys at once (taking a good 3-4 minutes per fight) at most, and if there’s 3 or more, I kind of implode. Any suggestions? My personal build right now is one that I know will eat the boss alive, but I can’t even get that far. :wasted: [/details][/details]

So this week I really took the time and started to explore Cauldros.

  • The glowing lake in Cauldros best not to fight there on foot with that Tyrant shooting you everything you try to kill one of the enemies near it.
  • Kind of a no fly zone if you are still just rocking the level 30 skell models given how many high level flying enemies are about and they will give chase.
  • Well found one of those things that looks like scenery but is actually a hidden tyrant that blew me out of the sky in one shot and shot me again as fell so I died before I hit the ground.
  • There are lower level prey to be found here but damn it is easy to draw the attention of something else so don’t bring some idiot rocking the raygun.

Bleh, I’m struggling hardcore post game. All the remotely decent ways to grind up tickets for the Ares seem to revolve around a) grinding a fuckton just to get the augments to push through, or b) the Final Menace squad mission. The problem I have is that the boss of that mission seems to kill me long before I can break off its appendages reliably. My issue is entirely around survivability. I can usually break off one or two, but then my skell’ll break and that’s it. I could do it that way, but that seems really inefficient and I don’t hear anyone saying they are in a credit crunch for repairing their skell every fight. Any advice for those who’ve done some of the postgame grind?

You’re going to need to get a Lv50 Skell. Next, farm the Phoenix and G-Buster weapons(or buy them). Use that Skell to farm Telethia. I used to do it solo, but it’s faster if you can find a party. Turn the materials in for Reward Tickets. Rinse and repeat until you have enough to buy the materials for the Ares 90.

End game is a huge grind fest. Your grinding levels, then materials, then tickets, then money, then miranium, then weapon/armor drops, then more materials… It doesn’t end.

Yeah, I have a team of fully decked out L50 skells. Though I see you mention Telethia instead of Yggralith. Is there really a difference?

Telethia is Lv30. Yggralith…is something you should stay away from until you get an Ares .

I just started Xenoblade for Wii. With the time I have to pay I should finish by November. Also talk about being inundated with popups and text jeez… And the battle system is one that I his can grow on me, but it’s NOT intuitive.

…god damn this shit is just complex as fuck. Now you can see the future and link skills and shit. I didn’t feel this inundated with info when I had final exams. Jesus Christ
