Damn, I should not have made Aries90 and heavy skells for my teammates, dunno how on earth they manage it but they seems to manage to blow an entire mirinium harvest’s worth of fuel to do fuck all.
Welp, back to grinding out more Ultrafauna Slayer XX skell augments later, this Telethia bastard isn’t going to kill himself.
My skell refuels extremely fast while I have an enemy in Bind. I’ve been grinding for an hour and my team are all out of fuel and I have 100 percent. I can’t find what perk makes that happen, or does it always refuel when you bind?
This game is so fucking massive. I’ve put 8 hours in so far and it says I’ve only explored 0.28% of Primordia lmfao. I still have a lot to learn about the combat and the mechanics in general. Some fights seem like I’m struggling a lot more than I should be just due to ignorance. It doesn’t seem like an enemy only 1 level above me should be giving my entire party SO MUCH trouble.
I went with the Pathfinder faction; I’m not really sure how much this choice affects the gameplay yet but their job description appealed to me since I love the aspect of exploration. Right now I’m just trying to do some side missions that don’t have me wandering into areas with enemies 50 Lvl’s above me. It’s kind of annoying you have to seek out each individual person when you wanna change members of your party…
Other than that, I’m loving it so far. When do you get to pilot Skells?
I’m 92 hours in, and I’m not nearly done. This is the kind of game that lasts over 300 hours. I’m kinda paranoid about sidequests since there are two that are broken so far.
In this game you actually need to respect enemies that may be 3-4 levels higher than you. It’s also going to depend on what kind of enemy as well. There are going to be several (putting this lightly) moments when you’re playing this game when you think you got a battle covered only to discover that you infact do not. Skells make it so you can probably handle some enemies that are normally to strong for you but it can’t be said enough that you shouldn’t bite off more than you can chew. I’m just starting to really explore Sylvalum after running around Primordia and Noctilum the most and shit and I’ve had enemies bodying all 4 of my teammates skells. I’ve probably had to fast travel back to NLA around 5 times just for myself alone because of the fucking asshole robotic guys that are patrolling around this area. Feels like everytime I’m trying to get into a fight in one of the open areas one of these guys shows up and I have to try to make a run for it.
Also have fun in Space Australia (Oblivia) when you get to it .
Oh yeah…I also did Chapter 8 that was pretty crazy. But there was this side mission called the 3 Celeste that was kinda crazy in the twists that happened. Not gonna give that part away but the way they it lulls you into a thinking it was gonna be easy
Guy A and B: We don’t know if we can trust ya or not so go kill some lvl 12 crab creatures off a beach.
Me:…K sounds simple enough does this and comes back
Guy B: Aight this is where this guy is and since you took those guys monsters out then that prove you can get this guy in this cave over here. points on map
Me: K! walks into the cave…there’s lvl 40 and 50 enemies everywhere that aggro on sight and/or hear you AND THERE’S NARROW PATHS OVER MOLTEN HOT MAGMA…PICARDWHATTHEFUCKISTHISSHIT.JPEG
That percentage is a combination of area explored, items found, enemies defeated, and quests completed. The game is huge, but not as literally huge as the percentage suggests.
There are times when 1 level is the biggest difference, and times where 10 above feels like 10 below. Depends on the enemy and your build.
The divisions dictate what actions cause your BLADE Lv to increase. You’d normally want to choose the faction that rewards the actions you think you’ll be doing the most.
This game doesn’t really scale dependent on location. The earliest areas will have Lv80+ enemies, and the end-game ones will have Lv12 enemies. Each area might as well be it’s own game.
No, but you get more EXP for doing it than you would if you were in another division. Different divisions also give different stat boosts, so factor in your preferred playstyle when choosing. I chose Harrier, for example, because I like killing shit and you get boosts for killing enemies. It buffs melee damage as well, which happens to be my preferred means of attack.
You can, but I was pretty burned out from affinity grinding by that time. If you want to get more done I’d wait until you’re ready, not much changed between chapter 11 and 12 gameplay wise.
