Nah, L4D2 is awesome if you have people you know to play with… that franchise has some of the best co-op action I’ve ever experienced in gaming.
However, it also becomes the most ridiculously hard/IMPOSSIBLE game ever if you set it to Expert + “Realism”. Then it becomes Battletoads-caliber bullshit…but sometimes even that leads to some funny and entertaining moments.
*ooh, random great moment came to mind… it was me and 2 others + 1 cpu-controlled Bill from L4D1…we were on whatever that new dlc was that lets you use the first game’s characters. The 3 of us were on top of that trailer or whatever with the switch, and here comes the Tank zombie…cpu Bill basically goes on a suicide mission to distract the Tank and lead him around in circles while shooting! This was surprising to see a cpu-controlled character contribute to the survival of the team in this way. I wish we had this recorded; it was awesome.
…another memorable moment— the final “Plantation scene” of one campaign… the boat finally showed up, but just like the dramatic ending to a zombie/slasher/horror movie, there was only 1 survivor left…that was me. My character was terribly beaten up and half dead though… limping to the boat. I was seriously on 1 point of health at the time. Seriously injured and slowed as a result, I kept pushing forward to the rescue vehicle, not stopping or looking back… the rest of the crew was dead. It was only a matter of time now, unless I could make it onto that boat. I could hear those undead freaks running over to my position, apparently done tearing apart my friends… no pipe bombs or any other helpful distractions were left, and I was low on ammo…not like it mattered as I was too injured and slow to fight them all. Amazingly, I made it. Left 4 Dead games are amazing because they feature so many situations like that.
Wow. Totally forgot how good Mass Effect 1 is compared to 2.
So I retrieved my old gamertag on my new system. And I honestly can’t remember so I wanted to ask before I basically re-buy everything. Does downloaded titles/dlc/whatever work for every account on the system or just that one?
Cause I really don’t want to re-download/re-buy everything again and then my girlfriend not be able to use the dlc unless it’s on my account cause that’s fucking retarded.

It works for every account on the system that it is first downloaded on. If you put your account on another system and download it, it only works on that account, unless you do a license transfer.

Also, not a huge fan of Gears of War. Tried it last night and did not like it at all.
Everyone looks the same. I couldn’t distinguish enemies from allies aside from when someone was trying to shoot me in the face. Why the shit does everyone have to look like Brock Lesnar if he did the Ivan Drago training? Its ridiculous.
And not just the people but the all the areas look the same too. I guess that’s why you need a button to home in on allies since everything looks the god damn same.
The controls are sloppy too and poorly mapped. The run mechanic is fucking awkward too. I was constantly clinging to walls when I didn’t mean to and ended up getting me killed or one of my allies killed and since everyone looks the same I couldn’t find him and I’d end up dying.
Just all-in-all a very unpleasant experience. :\ Glad I only payed like 7 bucks each for them.
there is an alternate control scheme where you cling to walls with a certain button instead of doing everything with the A button. also i dont see how humans look the same to the locust at all, its like saying the spartans look the same as the aliens on halo.
Because they’re huge, wide, and gray.

I hate the cage matches on WWE All-stars with a fiery passion. Why even put a stupid little mini-game in your way of exiting the cage? I suppose it’s there to add some form of challenge, but it’s incredibly annoying and stupid, imo. Of course the cpu characters can get the mini-game to go their way a good 95% of the time…and they’ll usually win the test of strength button-mash fest as well. I’ve completely given up on beating Hogan in the cage match on the Path of Legends. He’ll just reverse every goddamn thing you do from punches to grapples…and if you reverse the reversal…he’ll just reverse that too. Even if you have him in the red, he’ll get up there to knock you off the cage before you can finish playing the bullshit mini-game to get out…then of course he’ll play the mini-game perfectly (since he’s the cpu and can simply decide to win the mini-game) and win. At least the other 2 “Paths” are possible.

I picked up AC2 AC:B and Battlefield 2 last night. I’ve beaten ACII but i never got everything and i never played Brotherhood or Battlefield before.
I got the most obnoxious ass hole clerk. I usually have good luck in GS and can just go “Naw I don’t want to pre-order anything, thanks tho” but this fucker would not let up. Tried to get me to pre-order like five games. Douche.

Well, I guess I figured out what that Beta Channel was all about. I just got a delivery from fed ex from microsoft. It was a disc with some letter. The letter says “Welcome to the Xbox LIVE update!!!” and goes on to tell me that the disc is full version of Halo Reach and is being used to test out a new updated xbox 360 disc format. They also want to know if the existing media from my personal library is still compatible with my xbox following the latest system update. I hope it dont fuck my shit up…
