We have enough people that come out not any set number. If you feel like showing up and actually playing then come out. Also sticks aren’t an issue. Just ask to borrow a stick from someone when your match is up people arent against letting others use their stick
Blazblue is so disliked that it isn’t even listed, hahaha.

Usually starting from 1pm and on.
Depends on the players, the amount of set-ups etc.
Tips for beating shitty phoenix players courtesy of a shitty phoenix player:
1)Snapout, mixup, dead. Obviously. Watch for them to air dash up or teleport, they lose their air throw immunity this way. SheHulk, Zero, and Magneto are good at doing this, just don’t do a huge combo first and risk dropping it. PHX is #1 threat.
2)Play lame from round 1, FIGHT! If their other two characters suck ass, it shouldn’t be too hard to play 70% lame and then try kill them slowly until the timer hits 50 or 40. This is opposed to not attacking at ALL when jean is in and there is 60 seconds left.
3)Use shorter combos. Longer combos gain and give more meter in proportion to damage. Obviously, him getting meter is much worse than sacrificing some of your own. Try using exchanges if you want more free meter.
- if phoenix’s death blow gives her level 5, she won’t transform. Take advantage of this by using supers that do 1 hit of huge damage such as Gwabbity squeeze and zero’s level 3.
5)By transforming into Dark Phoenix and raw tagging out, he’s giving you a weakness. One is that if you snap her back in, she won’t have level 3 xfactor available to her. Two is that he is susceptible to chip as DPHX is falling from a snap or character death (since he can’t Xfactor until he lands)
Chip setups like Dormammu’s Sphere XFactor Sphere then Chaotic Flame will usually kill her on block here.
6)Random safe beam hypers and invincible supers are your friend. Stuff like shinkuu’s, Task Arrows, Hulk Gamma crush, Bionic Arm, X23 weapon X, Raging Demon, etc. Team super with hailstorm is also really good.
- find ways to punish jump up, airdash up, fierce homing shot. It’s really slow and lots of things can get her.
8)Phoenix’s teleport will not go behind you if you are in the corner. It is also punishable.
