Actually, I wanted to get some SNK games for people to play casuals with. What do you all recommend?
Neo Geo Battle Colliseum, Fatal Fury/Garou: Mark of the Wolves and KOF 2002 would probably be the 3 best games as far as most popular SNK games now. Until KOFXI hits on the 22nd in Japan.

Iām a fan of the Samurai Showdown series myself, even though the later incarnations are fairly broken.
You can either try Samurai Showdown 5 (only special is good) and if you arenāt scared of dodging the legal emulator issue there MIGHT be a way we can McGuyver it onto one of the large HDTVās lag free via a PC. I pulled it off on a friends TV so hereās hoping it works.
Apart from that I hear SS tenka is pretty good but I havenāt had a crack at it yet, itās import PS2 so you need to fix it up like Guilty Gear.

5 or the special version of 5, the special is a LOT more balanced IMHO.
In think you can work around HDTV lag if you run it from a PC because the signal is natively HD (if you run it via DVI) so it cuts out some of the problems, Iām not certain on how it works Iāll look into it more.

Most players play at My house, Foomyās or Ariez place. We do get games in from time to time at Putt Putt however. Right now, everyone in SOVA is playing a lot of 3s!!!
There is, however you must come in the day before if you want to take the bus service that takes you directly across the street from x3o in Rockville, MD.
If you want to come in from the bus on the same day, you must come in to Washington DC.
