OS is a lot faster these days so it’s actually accurate to his current portrayal. He started off only being as fast as the speed of sound but now he’s fast enough to run between continents in seconds.
Flash is fast enough to watch both Star Wars trilogies, finished Mario 64 with all 120 stars and read the art of war all before the finger pulls the trigger.
The sad part is, I’m so used to it i don’t even get upset. As soon as the title said “X-Men” I knew black people were going to die, and quick/ painfully.

When I started reading x books recently I was like"wtf I don’t remember him being this fast"so it seems like he got buffed over the last few years.
Wolverine got weaker now…no more healing factor.

This is Days of Future Past, where 90% of the mutant characters are supposed to get obliterated by Sentinels in the future
In the case of First Class, I can understand your feeling b/c of only 2 black characters, one died when his ability was specifically adapting to survival (Dumb), and the other defected to the villains side b/c the plot demanded it .
However, the future characters in DOFP who die include: 2 black people, 1 Brazilian Hispanic, 1 played by a Chinese, 1 Native American, 3 white (Iceman, Colossus, and old Magnus),
I’d say thats almost equal opportunity ownage right there.
If anything I would complain that one of those characters, IMO Bishop should have been featured in the past timeframe, since that era was pretty whitebread IMO.

If you want an all black cast, go to a Tyler Perry X-men film, where Bishop cheats on his wife, and receives comeuppance from Madea Storm before farting in everyones face while doing the hustle. :lol:

See, my complaint though, is after the ONLY person to really die for the good guys in FC being a black guy, this movie pretty much offs them FIRST. Sure, MAgneto catches a hot one early, but hten he retreats. Bishop dies first, then Storm.
I still don’t get why Magneto didn’t do something similar to…well Magneto, cover the sentinels in metals of various sources and throw them to be “invincible in conneticut”
He was recently possessed by the Death Seed and he reached his potential. He nearly froze the entire planet.
I think you’re overstating Magneto’s powers. He clearly has limits and he can’t instantly feel every metallic thing around him (no homo) and manipulate it. Hell, in the cartoon he was surrounded by Sentinels and got his ass kicked while being in a metal ship.
im used to it too…but damn…everyone got merked in like 5 min. future had team minoriteam just get ripped apart. 
Is it really overstating his powers? This guy infused what 6 sentinels with metal, and some how controlled ALL of them (still doens’t make sense what exactly he did, he didn’t just ‘rewire’ them) all the while lifting a stadium. I’m not expecting him to solo all the sentinels, but I just would have thought that the same way Magneto TWICE used metal as a conduit to control something/someone, that it’s something he could have done against the sentinels.
While I loved the cartoon it did a terrible job portraying the powersets of certain characters.
Comic magneto is legitimately a dem-god with certain portrayals…the dude on a beat a noob Phoenix wielding jean and do some pretty crazy feats such as holding together a celestial body. All the feats he’s don’t in the films are just basic entry level stuff compared to what he can really do in the comics.

I hope they explain how mags chills out in the later movies compared to the hot-headedness of fassneto. That would be some excellent character building, plus I want to see if Fassbender can pull off the cool and reserved mags that mckellen portrayed.

Was Jubilee an interesting character in the comics? She served a specific purpose in the cartoon in being a device to explain the X-men and their world to the viewer and being a Mcguffin.
they more or less jumped on the hype from the cartoon for a while…then she fizzled…tried to make her good again during the early 2000s by bringing her and wolvy together. at some point she had her powers re-written a lil to be more powerful…then last i heard of her she was some kind of vampire.
IMO She was a little better in the comics compared to TAS.Her parents were killed and she was a runaway from a mall and followed the X-men home unknown to them.
She hid out in their Australian base. When the team was in disarray due to various battles, she helped Wolverine escape from the Reavers and aided Woverine in freeing Psylocke from the MAndarin/Hand. She was hinted to have high level powers when she almost detonated a house in HK. Even though she had the mallrat dialogue, she was somewhat competent with Wolvy and PSylocke and the early days of the blue /gold team.
She was more “Street smart” and flip, then the more kiddy TAS version. She was Wolverines 2nd female “apprentice” after Kitty so she usually had some good interactions with him.
