X-men: Dark Phoenix: (June 7,2019)

THe movie was ass. Fassneto scenes were the only enjoyable ones

that only nitpicky pussies like you care about XD

I can be certain that you are seriously dumb and very ugly in real life.

It’s amazing how he thinks your a pussy for wanting a movie to make sense.

The X-Men movies usually makes sense at themselves, the problem of plotholes is only found when you compare the statements of one movie with the ones of the other movies of the series.

But as for the standalone approach, they’re completely fine. That’s why they usually receive good reviews.

The movie is a fucking sequel. It can’t be judged as a standalone feature as it’s following up on the previous movie. Everything surrounding Mystique wouldn’t make bloody sense if you take out First Class and DoFP out the equation. Stop being a dumbass.

Yes, it can and critics do. Critics ain’t no nitpicky pussies like all of you :stuck_out_tongue:

(Why are people being baited by someone as stupid as Magegg? Seriously?)

Anyway, does anyone know how much money this movie has made as of yet at the box-office given the mixed at best reactions to it? I suppose, however, that even if the reactions and presumably reviews weren’t mixed and this movie was actually good, then it probably still default to being the worst super-hero movie of this year at least revenue-wise since there’s no way it’s out-grossing Deadpool, Civil War, or even Batman v. Superman. Hell, it probably won’t even out-gross Suicide Squad and it definitely won’t out-gross Doctor Strange even if both of those movies end up (even more) terrible.

No you idiot. The problem with plot holes is when it is done over and over again in important storylines. How can the writers of these movies expect us to care about their story and characters when they don’t even care about them? Not one X film has managed to follow up on their endings or cliffhangers. Why the hell would they write and shoot certain story points of the series and just brush it off in the sequel? Other than the inconsistencies in their films, the marketing is also useless. They market various new characters like Psylocke and Jubilee to excite the fan base, and when the movie comes they don’t do jack shit.

You are an idiot to think that is being nit picky.

It’s obvious you care. If you didn’t, you wouldn’t be angry XD

Most of their cliffhanger endings/end teasers have been shit anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s the last time I’m saying it, Jubilee has never been important in the comics. People should be happy with the cameo and nothing else XD

Most people and critics don’t care and enjoy he movie thoroughly :stuck_out_tongue: Keep on denying it, you’re simply nitpicky XD

as far as i can tell, apoc gave her a victoria’s secret push-up bra.
that is all, lololol

And a lightsaber!! lol.

It’s been years since i read the 90’s comics but, I’m 85% sure her psychic knife thingy was never that strong.

It was pretty decent just, very underwelming. Could have been so much better though. Overall it’s a decent entry in the series.

And

X-Men Apocalypse > Batman Vs Superman by far.

It just dawned on me that Fassbender’s Magneto is basically the Wolverine of the first class trilogy.

Just like Huge jackman Wolverine always got most of the spotlight and development in the first movie set, Magneto always finds a way to steal the spotlight in the first class trilogy. You could basically lump all three movie’s together and call it “Magneto: Origins”.

The last one should read “You can’t die
but you are a black guy”

as far as the books go and depending on the writer, psylocke’s psi-blade can be both telekinetic and telepathic as to how she deems on using it.
kinda like holding a bazooka to your brain and firing point blank would be a good analogy imo.

FX’s X-Men-Based “Legion” Will Be a ‘Whimsical’ ‘Existential Exploration,’ Says Hawley

“I always feel like the structure of a story should reflect the content of the story. If the story, as in this case, is about a guy who is either schizophrenic or he has these abilities, i.e., he doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not real, then the audience should have the same experience,” he explained, adding that he hopes to make “Legion” a “more existential exploration” with “surreal or dreamlike quality where it’s not just about running and kicking.”

Dunno how I feel about that.

Well, they doing post-trailer scenes now.
