Hasn’t each movie with this cast jumped a decade? How the fuck are they still teenagers?
That’s what bothers me the most, I mean the last X-Men took place in what? The 80s? Beast and all still look the same way the did in the 60s…that’s like…20+ years. Movie Age I guess…
However I’m at a point where I’m ready for Cyclops, Jean, Storm, etc all to be in their mid-late 20s or early 30s.

I believe that the X-Men are jinxed as a movie franchise. There is so many characters that try to get crammed into each story, then there are the big name movie star characters that Fox needs to put there.
It’s not a jinx, Fox is just incompetent. They got the ensemble down just fine in the early movies, even with the focus on Wolvie. The problem was they started to turn the Ensemble Franchies into pure Star Vehicles instead starting at X-Men 3 and getting progressively worse about it throughout the franchise. They wanted to have their cake and eat it too. Hitch their ride to a star, but also throw out about 10 random characters each movie for fanservice and nothing else. First Class seemed to shift back…but then JLaw took off and everything started back over again.

I know, the Fox X-Men films have been wildly inconsistent with various mutant powers. The Michael Fassbender Magneto is supposed to be at his physical high peak of performance. Yet he had to dodge metal.
And Storm ever cared about getting in the rain before. Hell her powers specifically gives here this shield where in high speed flight the air resistance dont effect her, she can shrug off rain, hail and snow like they are a bunch of flower pedals in a Japanese Anime. ONLY TIME STORM FUCKS WITH AN UMBRELLA IN THE COMICS IS WHEN SHE IN CIVILIAN ATTIRE AND SHE WANTS TO BE LOWKEY.
