after reading from avengers disassembled to messiah complex i just dont like religion.
That’s one of the reasons why I thought New X-Men was so bad after DeFillipis and Weir left. The new guys brought back the Purifiers and Claremont’s Reverend Stryker. What a way to go. The overzealous, mindless, religious fanatic is such a lousy cliche, and those stories have been so one-dimensional ever since. Why do religious people always have to be supervillains or antagonists?
Well you got Nightcrawler and Woflsbane and Dust around. And these are religious extremists they’re portraying, not the bakesale/food drive people around the world.
I didn’t think that it was possible but somehow Messiah CompleX has become one of the most rushed and slowest paced storylines ever. Talk about going nowhere fast. If this is the best that the X-Titles have to offer then it’s going to be a long year.
i dont think it is as bad as you are stating. so far im enjoying but also it is little bullshit how it explains and fills in the gap on one particular x-man but hey we’ll see at the end
I don’t think I’ll spoil too much saying this but the characterizations of Cyclops and Bishop have been way off in my opinion.
I understand that desperate times call for desperate measures but by reading this storyline you’d think that Cyclops and Bishop don’t really know what the hell they’re doing yet decades of comic history would indicate otherwise.
There’s still one chapter left and many loose ends to tie up. How many answers can they cram into one issue? We’ll find out next week. Maybe.
I’m imagining you’re talking about Bishop Akuma. That writing right there is WEAK.
This last part was intruiging though, so it’ll be interesting to see how they wrap it up.

I’ve never read GLMK; I have to check that one out.
DPS is definitely a good one, as is Grant Morrison’s run on XMen. I think they put his entire run into a HC omnibus. I also enjoyed Claremont/Lee’s run, Nicienza’a run(was Andy Kubert doing the art for his run? I especially enjoyed the Psylocke/Kwannon arc, and some of the Phalanx Covenant stuff( I think Joe Mad was debuting in Marvel arouind that time as well).
I read a few issues of Messiah Complex, and I’ll wait for the TPB to have the whole thing. Hopefully it’ll be worth it. I liked what I was reading so far, so hopefully the end won’t suck…
I actually like the way they’re writing Cyclops. He’s FINALLY stepping up and doing whats necessary as a leader. Without Cyclops we wouldn’t have the new X-force and the Purifiers would probably have the baby courtesy of Lady Deathstrike.
Xforce does look like it’s going to be an awesome book.

But I kinda new something like this was comming Proffessor X was really just taking up space and no where near as bad ass as he used to be. Something tells me he’ll be back.
I’m glad bishop is gone though he was really getting on my nerves… and all this time his whole premise was warning the xmen of a traitor then he turns out to be one… that’s just lame. Anybody know the next big arc for the xmen and women?[/details]

Yeah I checked the list, today the last issue drops. Some people haven’t gotten their books yet so way too soon to talk about it right now without spoiler tags… 
No delay, we did get the book today. But just in NY (East Coast too) it’s 12:00 now, comics arrive in stores at 11:00. And everyone else in the United States is a a few hours behind us or so.
Off to get my issue right now so I can read your spoiler. I just tagged it and didn’t look at it. I hope you didn’t go off on a tangent and started talking about Proteus out of nowhere because that just got spoiler tagged.
