k im reading the latest Uncanny Issue…and did it just spoil me the ending of Whedon’s Astonishing X-Men? wtffff (bar conversation between Wolvie, Colossus and Nighcrawler)

X-Force was kickass, WTF do those Mutants expect Magneto to do to Xavier in Legacy anyway? Talk his way so that Xavier can awake from his coma?
BTW isn’t this the crossover DP mentioned where Magneto would return?
Its so crazy. They need to pull have a meeting or something. Get everyone on board. Wolerine is in every xbook except x factor.
You guys probaly seen it but this one shows pretty much all the problems with xmen spiecaly those with Wolvie
The Wolverine comic is solid. Out of all the xbooks it’s my favorite right now. There is one super racist line in it that, truthfully didn’t make much sense other then to make the comic come off as edgy or something. I love the flash backs. i hope they make better use of them though. They could take a lesson from “Lost” and really tie the past and present together with a theme. So good.
Xfactor? blah.
I’m loving the get mystique run. Sofar so good, I’m bias tho mystique is like one of my favorite villains.
do you think mystery is as an important device of a comic book villian as marvel makes it? Sinister is my favorite and both him and mystique are always so damn vague about everything until the very last scene where they have to flee. I’d LOVE to see sinister with his own title. him and the mauraders meesin with peoples. But, they’d never do it cause it seems marvel doesn’t know how to make something compelling without leaving it in total darkness.
dont forget new avengers, logan and any one of the major crossovers cuz we have to see what he thinks or is always involved :rolleyes:
I want to like wolverine but it’s just like man… i’m so tired of seeing him when there are plenty of underused x characters that could take his spot. Like having him in Xforce and new avengers… i guess i could deal with that… but he’s in russia with Peter and kurt? Really? Kitty was nowhere around?
I mean i’m sure it’s just cause the wolverine movie is comming soon, but at least try to put some rhyme and reason to him being everywhere. Iron man is EVERYWHERE but his appearances make more sense cause he’s always being debriefed by sheild in his appearances which makes sense cause sheild is everywhere. there’s got to be like 8 skruls that are posing as wolverine.
^ Its sad but I’m at the point now where its like normal… From Wolverine, to X-force, to new avengers and all the X-Books, its like ok I guess wolverine gets around. The biggest one is astonishing tho, the x-team was in outer space and earth at the same time. I was like wow man they just don’t try anymore. But I read whats going on there isnt suppose to be cannon really, I don’t know about that tho, seems like everyone is playing off what astonishing has built up.
I actually lol today when i read wolverine #62 and Mystique was like “shouldn’t you be off saving the world on one of the 6 teams your on.”
I know it’s just the fanboy in me, but I hope M starts playing more of a role in the X-Universe. I hated how they made her origin a complete mess in Gen X.
Fraction is joining the bru on uncanny. Dodson and land sharing art duties. Pornface and triple h poses are coming to the xmen

I wish Land would go back to drawing the way he used to draw when he did Nightwing or even early Sojourn. That stuff was a lot better. I don’t even know what to say when he rips poses off his old drawings.

Since when did Professor X develop healing factor? He gets half his head blown off takes a nap and then he’s all better. These X-Men comics are a joke.
well… he’s not all better. he’s just alive and not powerless.
and he didn’t have a healing factor exodus healled him on a cellular level repairing the physical damage that bishop did on him.
but i aggree these xmen comics are just gettting silly I hope that the new team brings it back to some degree of normalcy
