X-arcade WORKING ON XBOX 360! Video proof via xfps

I found your problem.

Seriously.

Unless you’ve modded it with Happ parts, or even despite that, the Bao Lian sticks in those things suuuuck.

Take a video of the training mode, turn on key inputs, and go for the ultra. You’ll probably see that the 3 button input is missing one or more inputs.

more findings

the lag in the input comes from an extra adaptor i used to make a ps /2 keyboard port to usb. with that being used for the x arcade it slowed 3 button input down resulting in the lack of ability to do ultras.

how ever i know that if i used the usb adaptor that xgaming made it will fix this. sadly i dont have one and to reduce the lag i resorted to
using the ps2 xarcade adaptor and made it run that way and guess what… i can do ultras at will. so for those with the ps2
xarcade adaptor you can use it with xfps and it will work 110% flawless
and it will read like a noremal dual shock.

but you can program the stick while in ps2 mode. that is the only trade off
and if i was able to program the guide button with the ps2 adaptor i would tell yall to do it that way.

but for now i think the main problem is the older xarcade pcbs suck ass
and i will try to upgrade to the on my co host has that we showed in the video.

keep testing yall and share your findings.

I received my XFPS sniper 3.0 plus in the mail a couple days ago. I’m using a custom joystick with an official Sony Playstation 1 DualShock PCB. Buttons work pretty good, no noticeable lag on my end.

But the joystick (sanwa JLF) input with the adapter is pretty bad. Dashing seems to be unreliable and very sluggish. I’d probably rather use a controller than this adapter if I play online.

What do you suggest?

well if you use the pcb from the psx then you are good cause the xfps will work 100% with it and no lag. so i suggest you keep doing what you are doing.
as for the sanwa JLF i am noticing that sticks with a serparate ground will lag or have major issues with xfps. this is the problem i’ve had with my xarcade being older. can someone else confirm that for me?

My results

I’ll add my experience. I have an X-Arcade Solo (currently with a Happ Super in it…awaiting my shiny new HAPP buttons )…and with my X-Arcade PS2 adapter hooked into the XFPS I experienced no lag. I also hooked the thing (the XFPS360) into my PC and using the methods outlined in the adapter thread I found it to be no more laggy than my keyboard, mouse, PS2 Saturn pad, wired 360, or wireless 360 controllers. I don’t have all my numbers at hand from all those controllers (I should have saved them)…but here are the numbers I got with InputLagTester and XPadder in ms:

11.79 -keyboard

11.78 -PS2 Dual Shock with psx->usb radioshack adapter

11.92 -xarcade psx->usb radioshack adapter

11.99 -xarcade pelican ps3 adapter

11.79 -xarcade xfps psx->xb360 adapter

11.91 - Sega Saturn USB pad

12.01 - Super Famicom Controller with Lik Sang Smart Joy adapter

35.77-91.5 -xarcade w/soyo psx->usb adapter

thanks this is a great chart we can use for data base at some point. i found that using the ps2 port is the best deal for the old xarcades. i won 18 out of 25 matchs
so i think its safe to say that we are good on that part.

Since it works good for you buy mine for 40 bux

Maybe the lag came from your connection?? mAybe

has to be a wired xbox360 controller pad?

Does the this setup with X-arcade, XFPS, X-arcade Playstation 2 adapter only works if you have a XBox 360 WIRED controller pad? How about using a wired MadCatz fightpad and connect to the XFPS one of the two USB port? I saw the red LED light on the X-arcade and the Madcatz fightpad works when connect to the XFPS. However, the X-arcade joystick is not responding.

no it has to be the wired 360 controller that dont need batterys to make it work… b/c when u take off the controller the joystick takes over…

Would I be able to use one of the GGG Interfaces like below with the xfps adapter and have it working on my 360. I know it’s seen as a gamepad and not a keyboard, so not sure if this would work:
