I dunno it seems like you’d want to cater to the fighting game audience since how many other repeat customers to you expect to get?

I mean people that just like arcade games are going to come by once in a while but if you can get a weekly crowd especially near a big city like chicago that’s gotta be good money, especially for just a part of your establishment. Probably 10 cabinets/setups or so would generate the most business if it was a good destination.

yeah - fighting games, rhythm games, and the kiddie shit is pretty much the only way to make an arcade survive.

I honestly don’t know how funspot in NH stays open. That place is so huge and has so many cabinets and it is in the middle of nowhere.

I went there last year when we were in boston for pax and it was awesome, but i just couldn’t believe what the electricity costs and maintenance costs are for that place, keeping all those 30 year old machines running. Plus it’s almost always nearly empty, from what I’ve seen.
