EDIT: How do I get Balrog’s Apollo Creed alternate outfit for SSF4? I DLed the costume pack and it had Balrog’s jumpsuit/braids outfit, but I don’t see another DLC costume pack with his Apollo Creed outfit for SSF4.
Buy the SF4 package. The old outfits don’t come with the SSF4 outfits. Look in the SF4 section.
Also, spideyman was the Balrog player last night I was the scrubby Zangief and our friend Mike was the Long player. LOL!! Every easy win was me or Mike. LOL!!! Sweet games man!!!

I recently opened a console gaming center in Madison, and I’d just like to put it out there that if you need a place in the area to throw down, I’ve got two 46" screens with both a 360 & a PS3 hooked up to each. Yeah, I definitely need to work on headbutt -> ultra. The main problem is that my muscle memory is INGRAINED to charge buffer (too many years playing Urien in 3S). So instead of doing downback -> upback to headbutt, then going into ultra from the upback position (thanks for the tip soloist, this shit works like gold), I’m doing downback -> upback -> Punch + downback (charge buffering allows Urien to do multiple tackles in a row, etc). I literally cannot break out of that as it’s happening without me actively thinking about it. I played about for another 4 hours after our session and I was sorta getting it out, but even then, I think it’ll take many more hours of practice and, unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll go back to using Urien in 3S.
GGs to everyone last night; it’s refreshing to play non-scrubby shoto jumpers. I LOVE doing TAP lvl 2 right in shoto scrubs’ faces…
Anyone know what Balrog’s costume looks like? It’s the one in the 18.99 DLC pack they recently released.

it’s really not all that difficult, 1 million sf4 scrubs playing rog online can’t be wrong. just go from downback to upback and then to straight back to prepare for the ultra after the headbutt. iu are just overthinking it. don’t let the online timing screw you up for real matches but to be honest the timing isn’t super tight on that combo anyway.
so i moved into the new place yesterday and it is pretty awesome. i have much more space for set ups so if you still have that tv chun i have a spot for it. i can probably get 6 or more set ups in the living room if we really wanted it if anyone wants to donate chairs or whatever. the new address 1021 e. wright apt 2.

I’m all moved into my new place as well. Tons of room in the basement for gatherings. I actually found a old CRT I had at the old place. There is no remote and I think the a/v inputs are wonky. I might go buy a ps2 rf switch and use it as my ps2 setup. Chun if you can still spot me a couple chairs it’d be greatly appreciated. I’m sure between Jerry and I you’ll be able to get rid of all of them. I’m gonna hunt some time this week for a couple more crts. I’d like to have at least 3-4 setups here. Now all I gotta do is figure out what day I should host. I may do Thursdays every other week or something like that.
So… this upcoming Tuesday’s fight night, 8-3-10, will be at Jerry’s new place? Please confirm.
