My blueprint is hitbox panel + universal fightboard PCB + aux panel. After that, my wishlist ends with the hope that Paradise Arcade Shop gets around to making 24mm OBS-MX buttons. GamerFinger has stopped shipping for some reason, so hitboxers looking for Cherry MX switches are out of luck.
I used to think of said “testing” as a headache but then I realized that it’s actually helpful to have an easy metric for sorting out idiots who are incapable of critical thought from those who can dress themselves unassisted.
There is no need for any more tests, just strap up a Brook Universal Fightboard /done
But actually, if we didn’t figure out that the Kuro VLX had a higher input latency then I wouldn’t want to even install the new combo deal Jasen and ArcadeShock is about to have out. although it is an extremely clean way to add quad mod to the VLX, lag aside.
I wrestled with this… I could have very easily added stand offs to support LEDs or even made an entire board that was the LEDs and controller in one, but decided not to because I wasn’t sure I’d have time to get everything I wanted done and have an opportunity to relax once in a while!
These just dropped! OBS-MX to PFS2 system of system harnessing. No more double linked wires sacrificing that clean look to take advantage of the OBS-MX quality.
Well to dual mod with the existing PS4 VLX board, you have to install diodes on every single input .
Jasen’s Helper board makes the existing Brook Universal Fightboard a easier drop in replacement for the original PCB.
I love this thing. I recently bought a bundle that included a VLX Kitty and I thought that it was an amazing piece of hardware for how cleanly it modded the Hori for multiple systems. Now we’ve got essentially the same thing that works with the shiny new UFB. Great job!
