Yes

I forgot to say. That eightarc says they are sending me a new stick. Hats off to eightarc. I know hickups happen so I am still looking fowards to having a great stick. =D

Couple of questions:

 1. Does the 360 Onyx also work on PC?
 2. Any chance you would be restocking / could track down a new 360 Onyx for me? I can wait.
 1. It works for some PCs, but this is dependent on your drivers. Please make sure your drivers and Windows updates are up to date.
 2. We do not plan on restocking the 360s at this time.

There’s a lot of rumors going around about the wood EightArcs randomly triggering the start button during matches. I finally had it happen to me a few weeks ago, and just a few hours ago PR Rog was using my Onyx stick for Marvel and it happened to him on stream. I love the construction of this stick to death, but that’s a pretty big problem.

Is there any chance that excessive jostling of the stick, like when you’re mashing a super or just working the shaft too hard (oh my), could cause the side start button to trigger? They depress very easily.

Hi Bagu, if you are seeing any issues please email us at info@eightarc.com

I wanted the Fusion Ebony but your all sold out. that is not even the problem though. i REALLY LOVE the ONYX design & i would feel ripped off spending a $50 for a stick with a shorter cord(no biggie) and PLASTIC instead wood. I just think its bad marketing because why would your most expensive stick leave something to be desired from your Cheaper sticks

I was set on the Fusion until i noticed how much more boss the onyx is…problem is i sold my TE to get Dual mod stick

You just fucked me up, god dammit.
For two weeks, I’ve been debating which of the two I should get. I finally decided on the Fusion, but now I’m not so sure.
Curse you, dammit. Curse you.

Also, does anyone know if these sticks (Both versions) are easy to open? I’ll need to switch the restrictor gates to octoganal ones.

We came up with different model joysticks at different price points and features to try and offer something for a wide array of players. It is difficult to find a specific set of features and characteristics that will please everyone.

Our joysticks are very easy to open. There are 6-8 Phillips screws (depending on the model) located at the bottom of the joystick. Once those are unscrewed, remove the bottom felt panel and you’ll have access to swap our your restrictor gate.

For your facebook page.

Thanks for sending me out those blue buttons. Money well spent!

I decided on the Fusion again after comparing hand space and the possibility of the wood chipping

Oh my god…
I want this!

Is that handle a mod as well? I got super excited, thinking this was a new model that’ll be in stock soon, dammit.

Yea i added the handle myself. soon it’s going to be icy blue. i have my ways  oh and try not to image quote. they don’t like that round these parts.

It looks nice (the entire thing does).
Thanks for the tip.

Got an Eightarc Fusion Black about a month ago. The X (Square for PS3) button is not responding alreayd, and the stick seems to wear out much quicker than my Madcatz Fight Stick TE.

When this stick works properly, I do prefer this over my Madcatz.

Just my 2 cents.

they use the same sticks as the mad catz though.

Yes they do, but my comment still stands.

I ordered mine Black Friday when you guys had a special on it. I ordered the ISO Pearl, I had been hunting for almost 6 months for a lovely white stick. I couldn’t order the Madcatz one from play-asia but they never restocked it. I took a look at it and was curious then had a buddy buy one and when I tried it I LOVED it. The Weight was good, paint job was gorgeous and hand space was perfect for my meat-hook hands. Whenever I play on a Madcatz stick it always feels a bit too small to me now. =P So, saved up some dough and when the sale hit, it was meant to be.

My Stick

I did some modding to it however since I have and XBOX and PS3. I could have gotten the Ebony Fusion but even with the Ivories that are out now, not a big fan of the design. I have a buddy who uses one and it did look a lot nicer than I expected and despite being Plastic instead of wood, the weights are comparable. But that was another major selling point, at least no one advertised… the amount of space inside there was VAST. So I was able to do everything I wanted. I understood how it would void the warrenty but the joy it’s brought was worth the risk.
Mod Work Done:
[]I had J&J Modding dual mod it for me using an Old MvC Stick PCB I had and a Chimp Board. So all I do is plug it in, and it works.
[
]Added extra spring for more rigid control
[]Add “The Link” for a detatchable Stick.
[
]Spark Optical Sensor, so the stick makes no noise
[]Took an old mouse-pad and reupholstered the bottom, The rubber bottom of the mouse-pad grips better than what you guys provided but I had been doing this long before I got your stick so it was a matter of preference not a design flaw.
[
]Used a fabric from Michael’s and cut 1 inch circles and laid them at the bottom of the buttons so it muffles 50% of the click-lity sound. I did this for my chick so I wouldn’t wake her up while practicing.
I dumped a lot of dough into the stick but this is going to be my final stick, for a looong time, if not forever. There just isn’t another stick on the market that is as aesthetically appealing to me as the Eightarc Ivory and I don’t think there ever will. I LOOOVE it…

and yes I beat Sanwa to it. Months ago.

I think his point was it may not be an EightArc issue but a Sanwa issue since those the type of buttons in the stick.

fucking sweet!

is there any chance you guys will be re-issuing the Sapphire stick or a new one that looks similar this month?
