Heyo!
Probably/possibly ordering up a Fusion this week/maybe tomorrow (haha).
Wondering when you ship things? Couldn’t find a FAQ or anything on it in the about (didn’t search the thread 'cause I’m too lazy I guess). Do you ship weekly? On the day?
Anyway, hopefully not a question that appears every page or I’ll feel like an idiot. Or something. I guess I sorta am a bit of an idiot, but that’s beside the point.
Thanks in advance.

Just received my fusion ivory a few mins ago I’m already in love wit it, it’s truly a stick of beauty. Can anyone recommend a good site to buy a octagon gate and maybe some buttons and a ball top as well?

focusattack.com will fill your needs at the moment. Everywhere else is kind of behind on orders.
money has been sent brobino!
Most beautiful and high quality sticks I’ve seen yet (no homo). Ordered one today.
Potential for an eightarc+toodles collaboration? That would be HAWT.

just received my eightarc pearl for the ps3 in the mail this morning. i understand these things aren’t meant to be “flawless,” but are the button holes in the sides meant to be smooth? mine look like they were hacked out with a fork and then painted over. also the felt on the bottom plate kinda frays over the edges and ruins the look of it. i can probably fix the felt thing, but how hard is it likely to be to remove the buttons and try smooth the inside of the holes out? there’re a few other little things. im kind of disappointed, i thought eightarc would be awesome quality.

If mine ends up like this I will shout PROFOUND SADNESS!, then continue to use it because it’s all I will have. Haha.
But real talk, I spent a shitload of money on it. XD. Screw shipping to Canada
Edit: … and another thing. Haha. There a faceplate art template for the Fusion Ivory? Would be greatly appreciated.

This is a long shot but, I don’t suppose they’ll be selling eightarc sticks at sfxt fight club? http://www.capcom-unity.com/brelston/blog/2012/01/27/street_fighter_x_tekken_fight_club_ex-uppercuts_san_francisco_feb_2 Trying to avoid the shipping cost since I live in SF home of eightarc…
Yes, we plan on having a booth at NCR.
We will not be restocking the ISO PS3 Pearl joystick at this time.
You will need to purchase the black buttons and ball top from somewhere else and install them on your own. This will also void your warranty.
This customization would need to be done on your own and would also void your warranty.

We usually ship in 1-3 business days once payment has cleared.

Sorry to hear about this issue. Please email us at info@eightarc.com and we will further discuss how to resolve this issue.

Sweet I’m now hype for NCR 2012 hopefully i can buy a fusion.
Has anyone noticed an issue pressing more than one button at a time with the eightarc sticks?
Pretty early on I noticed that pressing two or more buttons together was much more inconsistent on my eightarc Pearl PS3 than on my MadCatz TE for PS3. I dismissed it at the time because I was planning to swap out the internal circuit board for a Paewang Revolution PCB from etokki.com (so I could have a dual-modded Pearl; note that this was before the release of the Pearl Fusion). However, once the project was complete, I noticed that the Paewang Revolution had the same issue!
After talking with some others and demonstrating the problem to them we’ve come to the conclusion that the electronics in the eightarc/Qanba & the Paewang/Joytron must have a faster “polling interval” than the MatCatz TE. That is, because the former two boards are looking for button presses more frequently, the margin for error is smaller (if you hit the 1st button even a fraction of a second before hitting the 2nd, 3rd, etc. then it will not count them as being pressed at the same time).
For example, if I press LP+RP (Tekken; Square+Triangle on PS3) then I ALWAYS get LP+RP on the MadCatz TE. But with both the eightarc/Qanba & Paewang/Joytron boards I am getting LP+RP sometimes & getting LP~RP (“slide” or “button-roll”) other times.
I’ve swapped out my Sanwa buttons for some other Sanwas I had laying around yet I found the EXACT same issue (I even swapped out the stick and internal wiring with the same results).
Is there anyone on these boards with enough electronics experience to explain the validity of my observations/hypothesis? I find it hard to believe that no one else has noticed this in their reviews for the sticks, but I just cannot ignore what I am seeing here…
Any assistance/explanation is greatly appreciated!
NOTE: I am not in any way bashing eightarc/Qanba products. Other than this issue, I have found the build quality of my stick to be very good. In fact, by “polling” more frequently for button presses one could say that the eightarc/Qanba (and Paewang/Joytron) circuit boards are MORE ACCURATE than the MadCatz TE!
Yes, I have this problem. I thought it was just me. Or is it just us? I’m pressing LP+HP and the input reveals as LP,HP. No way! Watching other people use the stick, I’ve figured that it is a margin of error issue - your fingers have to be more precise. I’m not that precise, so I’m not that happy.
I’m on of the many that wants to get a PS3 ISO Pearl. Tried it at SCR and it was damn nice. Is there another stick like this? I read that you say no restocks at this time, is there any plan in the future?
It is not an absolute no. We may restock our wood joysticks if there is enough demand. Thanks for the interest!
Glad I got mine when I did. Do you mind sharing where you guys get your male to male USB cables. I know I can make my own but I would much rather have one that works then a ghetto looking one that is all electrical taped up.
