Does anyone have any pics of the 360 Onyx in the flesh? Can only find promo shots and videos. If anyone has some, can you post them? Thanks.
Would it basically go like this Plexi is at the very very bottom into art and ontop of the art is that glass panel like thing that’s already on the stick for using the custom art for the clear panel.
Was I suppose to get something other than just a clear panel in my shipment? I don’t even see a packing slip or anything.
Edited original post due to figuring something out because I was dumb lol.
Additional stock has been ordered. Don’t have an exact date yet.
There should have been replacement stickers included if you mess up the original stickers during disassembly.
The final layout goes like this, from the top:
stickers
screws
clear panel
your printed art
the sheetmetal baseplate
The original faceplate/art is not used.
By stickers what exactly do you mean? The ones that cover the screws? Also that sheetmetal and baseplate is under the original faceplate/art I assume? I definitely don’t see anything else in here other than the plexi though.
Alice, please check out this video. It is for a Qanba Q3 joystick, but the fundamentals are the same for our ISO and FUSION joysticks. This should answer all of your questions. The person in the video actually uses nail polish remover to remove the original art, but you can ignore this step because you have a virgin clear panel.
I would also recommend removing the bottom panel to get easier access to everything.
I did a mockup on my custom art today. I wanted to keep the simple look while representing my favorite movie of 2011 and the 80s (since thats where a lot of sticks originated from.)
All I can say is I wish there was a way to get the same glossy metallic piano finish that the stock art has. If I could get that then I would be a super happy camper.
Here’s a couple of pics.
Looks pretty slick!
I wanted to simply put a twist on the stock art. I love the simplicity of the Eightarc art and I wanted to recreate that in retro fashion. Maybe some pink buttons and a pink mesh balltop?
Kinkos said one of my locations will be getting a printer with metallic polish ink soon so maybe I will get what I wish for.
Btw, I absolutely love this dual modded stick. It’s a huge lifesaver to have a quality stick I’m comfortable with to take to the arcade and use on ps3 and on the flip side be able to take it home and play on Xbox 360. You guys have really outdone MadCatz IMHO. Hopefully this will jolt a little bit of competition of quality sticks in the market at decent prices…unlike Hori.
I like the look of these. Couple of questions though. What size are the side buttons? Can they be replaced with sanwa? Have you any plans to sell a pearl iso 360?
I have a few simple questions, can you put a customer’s custom art and/or changing the ball tops and buttons purchased along on your website before you ship the stick? simply put, do you do customizing work if requested by the customer? (using only the products on your website of course)
The side buttons use 24mm screw buttons. They cannot be replaced with Sanwa buttons because they are not long enough to pass through the MDF sides.
We may consider a pearl 360 if there is enough interest.
We do not do art. We will replace the balltops and buttons if requested. Thanks for the interest.
Is it possible to fit PS-14-G’s on the 360 onyx? Still intrested in shipping over one on thurs to the UK but will I have to go with with a LS-32-01 & some PS-14-KN’s or will the superior (for what im going to be using the stick for) PS-14-G’s fit the 8 on the panel? (G’s are the only 30mm Seimitsu with a flat plunger but arn’t screw ins)
there shouldn’t be any problem swapping out to seimitsu buttons. Screw-ins or snap-ins unless it is 24mm buttons.
This makes so much more sense, i’m a very visual person so I get how it works now. Thanks so much for the support.
Is it possible to add custom art for the onyx stick?
Yes Dwight, you can add custom art to the onyx stick if you include a clear panel during check out.
Hey there Eightarc!
My Fusion came in the mail today and I must say, I am very, very impressed! The stick is gorgeous and definitely well worth the $200 I spent.
If you guys ever release a Pearl version of the stick, I just might get it
Anyways, I made a video review on it for anyone that is contemplating on buying one of these sticks.
I assure you guys that these are definitely top quality and the sticks are professionally made.

Thanks once again, Eightarc!

I’m sure the new Eightarc will do well.
