Greatest how? I thought Smackdown 2 on PSX was the best, good character creation, Career mode that never ended and allowed 4 players to play with their own made characters. Also, every year of career mode you completed unlocked a new set of create-a-wrestler clothes, entrance moves and masks that were specifically geared towards making ECW, WCW and Japan Wrestling stars.
Here comes the pain was good, but I think if they just added that 4 player unending career mode, and gave the career mode more choices, and allowed other characters and stables to react differently depending on what you do, I’d think they’d have come up with the perfect package. Seems like its 10% gameplay improvement, 90% graphics improvement every time a new smackdown game comes out.
