Good idea the only thing is that he powder would add 1-3mm thichness to the shaft so you might need to adjust the dust ring a little. I can tape off all the other parts so it shouldn’t be a problem fitting back together. I might do a “test” run on that shaft, I just ordered some high heat tape, when it gets in I’ll “test” it out.

yes sorry lol 1-3 Mil but yeah it could make for a very tight fitting dust ring. I’ll test one out

Well the Neutrik don’t come with the case so yes I’d have to charge $10.00 to cover the cost of the NAUSB and shipping. The powder used is very minimal but every little bit counts. P.S. I can only powder the black ones because the silver is nickel plated and it don’t stick. I can remove the black paint but not the nickel plating. I’m going to try some dual stage coats next up Black Cherry then I’ll try to add a clear coat

Those color matched parts looks hot. Does the mirror white powder have a glossy or flat texture to it, I can’t really tell from the pics?

You could probably sell the coated JLF shafts as its’ own product

Dang that white shaft turned out really nice, definitely gonna need one of those on my flash

The Mirror white is super glossy and smooth like glass. Hard as nails too, I cant even scratch it with my finger nail. I did get runs on one piece but only around the edge it was a mounting plate that I did a really thick coat on so I would know the breaking point. I’m taking pictures right now.

my guns not rated for 2 stage colors :\ but I could try? I’m going to try some clear coats tomorrow. I think my shells are coming in Tuesday now so I got a little more time to experiment.
