WTS: Voltech Arcade Sticks FTW!

Sucks to hear that man, hope things get better for you. your cases are top notch and love every minute i use them!

Agreed, even though it took some time for me to receive mine, it was worth the wait. Thank you Voltech, and I hope things work out for you! You’re orite in my book!

wow all those boxes look great

Aww. Good luck in your life man, hopefully things turn out for the better for you. I’m sure others will wait for your return but, you gotta do what you gotta do hey?

Just put mine together and wired everything up, still gotta wait on a different Neutrik RJ45 adaptor since my original plans won’t work now. Still, I love the stick. Works great in Marvel. Just need to add some art.

I used the terminals that way I never have to touch the PCB wires if I ever decide to swap sticks or buttons, I’ll only need to mess with what I install. Turned out pretty well.

Good work Voltech! Thanks and I hope things turn around for you.

Nice stuff man, let me know (via pm or something) what you do about the RJ45 Mounting, I foresee the same predicament and I was thinking of possibly sending it to my prospective custom builder, so that they can mount it (since it takes some creativity on the woodworker’s part to mount to be aesthetically pleasing).

Nice work Pasky!!! You may have gotten my last Lacquered case so take care of it

I am however looking into making another batch of blank maple stained and clear coated cases. I’ve got all this wood here so I decided to have another go at it. I’ll not be taking any custom orders this time around and I may go with a different design. It all depends on how things pan out but I’ll be in touch - Voltech

Happy New year!!
I just wanted to start off 2010 by letting you all know that I’m still alive and I’m firing up the table saw again for another batch of Voltech Arcade Sticks!!!

With the new year comes a new slight design change, new options and new pricing

First I’ve added the T.E. button layout to the mix this will allow you to take advantage of all the beautiful artwork we’ve seen being made. My custom art template and mock-up are currently in the works but for reference you can use the T.E template. The main difference is that my panel is 12" x 8" just slightly taller and a little narrower but the button layout and stick placement are the same.

  • this layout will only work with the Sanwa JLF series or Seimitsu LS-32 type flat mounting plates. All other layouts use my custom universal mounting plate.

Here’s an example I made using Vewlix art so you could see how the buttons and stick match up. I used the T.E. template as my guide.

The layout on the access panel has been reduced to 3 24mm button holes and 1 24mm hole for either the RJ45 pass through. I recommend the switchcraft as seen here
the NAUSB pass through or I’ve even used a button hole plug with a notch cutout for use with a standard controller cable.

Custom orders will be very limited as I plan to post up what I have for sale first.

HELL TO THE YEAH!!! I cannot wait to get this case! K-stick incoming! I’m thinking Paul Phoenix and Feng Wei for the artwork; haven’t decided whether I’m going with Crown or Seimitsu buttons yet…

Oh man…trade some(/a bunch of) wiring for a case?

How do I order?

Good to see you back, man.

When you do end up taking customs again…

Is a slim, compact, HAPP set up (6 buttons, IL stick) set up possible?

Welcome back! Very excited

I would go with Seimitsu personally, it gives you so many more options

We might be able to work something out. Your wiring it top tier PM me lol

Good question  and the answer is. You can PM me here or shoot an email to voltecharcadersticks@gmail.com I take payments through Pay Pal (all Custom orders require a Deposit of Half the agreed price up front) I’m also considering placing a few on ebay but thats gonna be down the road a bit.
For now I’m asking that people wait and see what I post up for sale as I’m putting the finishing touches on the cases now and will try and keep a small inventory for you to choose from. I will consider taking custom orders for the right price but prefer to keep things simple as custom orders slow things down.

Thank you, it’s good to be back

Hmm a slim Happ is kinda of an oxymoron especially the IL parts since the buttons and stick sit so deep. I think I might be able to shave a few mm’s off the 3" case if thats what you’r thinking. I do have a couple of my full size Happ cases left one Zebra and a Purple heart both waiting for a coat of finish if you’re interested. shoot me a PM

PMed

Yeah it can’t be completely “slim”, but as slim as compact as possible, i mean~ I’ll stay tuned to see the pics of the finished ones! thanks!

Updated my first page. Pics of new sticks for sale !!!

Ok this is how I want to do this.

  1. I’ll post up the asking price
  2. You shoot me a PM with an offer letting me know what you’re willing to pay and the button layout you want.
  3. I’ll choose the best offer and contact you via PM or email with the total (shipping included)
  4. At that point you will need to make the payment in full
  5. I’ll drill out the button hole pattern and make any changes that we agree on
  6. I’ll them snap a few pic’s so you can verify everything is cool
  7. Once you agree I’ll pack it up and ship it out

So what are you waiting for, Make me an offer lol

Those purple hearts are too good. Shooting another pm your way soon.

Love the recent burst of creativity. I have no clue how you did the corners for the purple hearts (“8” shaped), I believe you use some sort of a 45 degrees guide along a circular saw ?
