As I have commented you by email, I prefer a hole to fit the USB connector. 16mm W x 8mm H just for recharging wireless battery of ds3 or sixaxis pcb.

Dont know if its possible.

Hmm not sure there’s enough room under the button in the middle to make that big a cut. I might be abler to do it off to the side. It does look pretty cool. I’ll look into it but no promises just yet.

You may want to try this very clean to add. Voltech may want to try this a USB-A to USB-B Panel Mount Connector. I have seen some sticks built with that. Try a google on it.

Now that’s clean! I would just need the style # and the hole size. I’ve seen a few different kind out there so a link to the one you want with some sort of measurements would be best. Unless I just pick one and go with it. Anybody wanna do the leg work?

The USB connecter is called the NAUSB. It comes in two colors, silver and black. I bought mines from markertek. It fits nicely in a 24mm hole.

Don’t mean to hi-jack the thread, but those of you who have ordered one, I got a few questions:

  1. did you bother creating a recessed area for it, so that it sits flush into the side of the case? or did you just use a simple 24mm hole and leave the metal edge hanging?

  2. i’ve been searching around with no luck, but did anyone find a variation of that NAUSB with the Mini-B end? I’d rather use the default cables that came with the ps3 controllers to charge them, rather than buy new USB cords.

  3. anyone got a few extra they wanna sell? haha markertek doesn’t ship to Canada :frowning: lookin for 2-3 if possible :smiley:

Edit: Didn’t need them anymore, performanceaudio.com ships to Canada and their prices aren’t too bad either.
