I would cry if someone didn’t want a clear coat on an exotic. Honest to god cry. Especially if they wanted it painted. 100% sad face.
So soon? You’ve been busy I see, or maybe I’m use to the idea that my last case took 3 months to make!
Nice to see, I’m sure that will make quite a few people happy, I always figured I would but a 2 player button there for shits and giggles.
Just received my case today. Pictures really don’t do these things justice. Sadly I still need to choose/make the art I’m gonna use, heh.
Really great work man. Sent you an e-mail about my second one!
Sweet glad you like it and most of all that it made it there safe. Cant wait to see it all finished
A couple of things…
first I’m making a build change for the new slim cases. Edited (I’ll stick with the screwed down tops.)
Second I’m going to start using a more durable and slightly more expensive Lacquer clear coat but it wont be here until next week sometime so there may be a slight delay for my shipping to start, (I had originally planned to start shipping the beginning of next week) but it will be worth it in the long run.
The new cases are coming along but not quite ready for pics yet ,maybe once I get them all smoothed out I’ll snap a few and put em up.
Quick update! I’ve got most of the cases cut out, sanded and prepared for their finish. I had to order some more supplies and so I’m waiting for the delivery sometime this week. If you have any questions about your case just shoot me an email and I’ll reply asap. Thanks for your patience - Jesse
Ok placed a order for a slim case! I love my Akuma case and just had to get a slim case for PC SF4 on my desk!
Right on! I think you are going to love the new slim cases. I’ll post some pics later today - peace
More slim cases this time with some Exotic woods! Keep in mind these are still raw and unfinished
Zebra wood
Pau Ferro
More pics coming soon
NICE!
Glad i put a order in for a slim case, they look sweet!
does the slim case have more room for wiring inside? cause i just found out i might not beable to fit a 360 pcb in the regular one T.T
God, that Pau Ferro is soooo nice looking, was so worth the premium, and hell it’s not even finished with a clear coat yet…wait…what’s that? I see fingerprints? Fingerprints on my Pau Ferro?
RAAAAAAAAGE
LOL don’t worry it’s not done yet and they come right off when I wipe them with the tack cloth. But yeah that wood feels so smooth it sands down as fine as frogs hair, I might just have to keep one for myself.
CONTINUED RAAAAAAAGE FROM LAST PAGE
In all honesty though, even though it’s only partly done, it’s already shaping up! Keep up the good work!
On a different note, IT SHOULD HAVE HAD BEEN SANDED WITH FROGS TO KEEP THE QUALITY OF THE WOOD? WAS IT FROG SANDED? WAS IT? RAAAAAAAAAAGE!
? You should be fine on the regular, here is Upas’ work on my voltech, dualmod
protoman: What are your 4 back panel buttons connected to? I’ve been wondering what to do with mine, lol. Start, Back/Select, and Guide/Home are all I came up with.
ones probably for the IMP switch i’m guessing
hmmm what gauge wire you using? ProtomanSTi? i use 22 solid, its so stiff it looks so bad -.-
seems like i should be ok too then i just have a barrier strip right above where you put your xbox pcb
Hmmm the IMP switch uses the home/guide button to do the switching, I’ve set up a few myself.
Maybe I should put in a self destruct button…
it uses the home/guide switch, but if you read the thread you can also use a designated button for the purpose
The 4th button was there for the wireless sync button or the Imp switch. I guess it could also be used as a destruct button or may be a toggle switch for game genie codes lol Anyway I’ve gone back to just 3 buttons for my default unless 4 are requested.
just thought id pop in say love your sticks man and great matches the other night.
Those slims are beautiful. Keep it up
