here’s what happened! I made a stick for you, after looking at it full assembled it just didnt make me say “this is nice” it was really good but i mean I wanted to build something special for you so I tossed it in the trash (literally) and made a new one for you starting last week much better… I’ll have some pics for you monday so check your inbox
everyone else: glad everyone is fairly happy with their sticks, I will have a few for sale again in the near future plus as always the custom shop is always open…

dang noel, you didn’t have to do that for me. =X. you really didn’t have to. after reading your reply…i don’t know what to say but i’m really happy to hear that. =). thank you so much! =D
E-mailed you Noel.
Thanks.
Hey, just emailed you. I hope you’re not too incredibly busy.
What’s this about sticks for sale?
Follow up post. Got a lot more time in with it recently. It’s become my stick of choice out of all the others I’ve played on without question. I even have some friends who prefer to play on it than the sticks they were use to. Really liking it.
hi, just received my stick today and it has similar imperfections, i think its just a case of purchasing somthing hand made.
Also anyone on here with a fink stick, is it safe to unscrew the bottom panel, everything inside is secured to the top panel right? I would like to know as my bottom panel has a bend in it which well to be honest detracts from the sticks impressiveness, everyone ive shown mentions that first rarther than the quality of the stick so i want to change it out.
I think finks had to change the pcb on my stick so that would explain the bent panel as i assume after painting a screw driver is required to get the damn thing off again!
This has been a problem with sticks made in the past month or so. The steel supplier I usually rely on has been giving me really shitty cuts of steel sheet. I would say 7 out of 10 sheets have had some serious irregularities to them. whether it’s not been cut square, long gouges the whole length of the material or worse terribly bent. I would say I have thrown away or had to scrap a great deal of material I have bought in the past month due to the fact they werent even remotely repairable. it has effected the quality of a few sticks so its put me in a bind of sorts.
I may stop making sticks (for a very short time) until I sort out the matter because I dont like to “make do” with half assed stuff. it’s not easy on me nor is it fair to the end user. it’s hard to try to find new suppliers for things when there’s like 10 orders to finish up. same thing happened this time last year with parts… part supplier decided to stop answering emails and more importantly stopped shipping parts! it was a mess and I lost thousands of dollars worth of business due to I didnt have another supplier at the time. I really hate relying on other people to make my business run right especially when they mess up or just get lazy.
there are going to be some flaws in anything handmade, I give myself a certain tolerance in spacing, sizing and overall fitment of things especially when in “massproduction” mode. if I was making sticks on my own time naturally the tolerance would get even smaller because I have the time to tweak everything without worry of time or getting things sent out in 3 weeks. If I was a person who made 3 sticks or less per month naturally things would be different. every stick I make is one of a kind in the sense that although they all look the same no parts of the stick are massproduced so if you lined up 2 sticks that looked identical chances are they might be up to 1/16" or more difference stick to stick. if things were machined, stamped or machine formed, naturally things would be “perfect” but I simply do not sell enough of these to manufacture these on any great scale. So I hope that clears that up… the joysticks are nice, to this day nobody is crazy enough to make as many as I do at any given time especially on a custom level so for what they are they’re still pretty damn good small flaws and all. but people have to accept that there are gonna be small inconsistancies due to how they’re made.
as for the cover question, small phillips screwdriver remove the four screws and the cover is off in less than one minute. I could send you a new cover but you would have to drill your own holes in it since again the holes arent cut to spec so it would be a matter of transferring the holes from the old to the new. it might take some time to arrive via mail but i’m willing to do that for you.
as for everyone else, I’m sorting out these issues with the material, it’s a small setback but nothing too serious. I used to hand pick the material I used to get and for the past little while I have had to call-in my orders so I have been getting rather less desirable pieces to work with because of this.
I got a few sticks to finish up now, lately I havent been around here too much soley because i would rather do less talking and more working on things but I encourage people that if they do have a question or wish to get something from me to email me and I will get back to you asap. again my email is: noely.w@gmail.com
thanks guys

Hi noel, thanks for the offer of a replacement panel but really its no problem, a friend of mine is an engineer so i think ill get him to get me a plate of stainless and ill drill the holes with his pillar drill. Just wanted to make sure the internals were not secured to the base before i popped it open.
So I guess my stick request is gone down the shitter huh?
-_-
Not surprised. Luck is if anything the worst thing I have.
Thanks for addressing the problem though.
nah it hasnt actually, I have a fanta joystick here it’s just a matter of the owner wants to part with it or not since I have been holding it for him for about half a year until he decides what he wants me to do with it. if he wants to part with it you guys can settle a price for it IF he wants to sell it. PM SpizyN00Dles and see what he has to say… if he says yes then I can make something for you asap.
thanks
Noel
Happy belated Thanksgiving, Noel. Hope all is well!

Thanks Henry! same to you! things are well… could be better but making the best of a situation
hope things are well with you too
I PMed the guy. Hoping for a response.
Thanks for the suggestion. And sorry if my previous post seemed ill, but I was quite frankly pissed off last night and that was kind of the icing on the cake.
YES.
Finkle:
This is his reply:
Sure man.I told Finkle that he can use the stick when he needed it because I sent the parts to him and I told him if I could do it later when the PS3 comes out. Go ahead and use it seeing as how I won’t ahve a PS3 for a while
All hands on deck?
success!
well here’s what you do, buy it from him and I will discount the price of the completed joystick since you “have your own”. this discount will not be based on the price you get the fanta for but my own judgement naturally
so you guys work on a price and I will take up the order when its sorted out. hopefully sooner than later
finks
I think I spent like 38 dollars for the fanta stick and buttons. Not sure how much I want for it. Get at me on AIM and we can work out a deal I guess. PS What happened to Laugh and his Korean parts or doesn’t per (RNG) have some korean parts in stock ?
Please tell me you shipped it already NEC IS NEXT WEEK!!! lol
What’s up, Finkle? I hope you got my email letting you know you can send my stick whenever finished. Hope you had a great holiday. Take care.
show me my stick…PM me =)
