typically I use either or, some people arent picky to what I use but some people are convinced to use the 1st party controller boards so I can use either one.

sorry for the noob question, but is the ps1 dualshock pcb and the ps2 dualshock pcb the same? which ones do you use? my friend wants to know because my stick used a ps1 pcb (i think…the cord was gray) along with a dreambox ps-xbox adapter and it worked perfectly on xbox fighting games with no input lag whatsoever…he wants to duplicate this experience with his stick…
he’s going to buy a dreambox adapter, so the type of pcb he’s going for is important in this case because he’ll be using the stick on the xbox as well…

I typically use the ps1 dual shock controller, they come in a few different revisions (series) but I use what I get for the most part since they’re getting more and more scarce each time I buy 6 or so at a time… for the most part from what people tell me who have bought a stick from me converters work fine with if I use the ps1 dual shock. There are a few 3rd party controllers that work fine too converter wise but they’re harder to come by but i’m going to be doing some research soon to find out which one works best cuz eventually the old dual shocks will have dried up! hopefully by then next gen consoles will be the latest thing and I or other builders wont have to worry about dual shocks anymore

Due to the hit or miss aspect of the p360 joystick on the ps2 platform I do not make p360 sticks for the ps2 at this time.

Soul Survivor: due to the sudden demand for p360 joysticks I am making it a new priority to get everything working 100% so I will be working hard in the next few weeks designing and tweaking the design.
