How much does a finkle stick typically weigh? I like my sticks with a bit of weight.
Even if they’re light, weighting a stick down is just about the simplest possible process when it comes to custom sticks. Hell you could pop it open and shove rocks in it if you wanted to make it that simple (and destroy the insides of course).

Its a custom stick, you can do whatever Finkle is willing to do. Mine is in process and Noel is a very modest guy. If you want to know what you can get shoot him an email. If he doesn’t respond in 4-5 days he probably missed it, he probably gets spammed so just shoot him another one.

Has anyone had an order taken from Finkle in the last 2 months? I can’t figure out why he would ask me what specs I wanted and then just disappear. Guess I’ll try emailing him again…
I ordered in on week with around 10 e-mails back and forth with him. Just be courteous and kind to him. He said he was just recovering from an injury so maybe thats why he didn’t reply to you.
Yes I ordered and got my stick within 2 months. Just reply with the specs and he’ll get to work on it. I dunno where the concern is from, are people expecting him to reply to everything and say “Hey, I read your mail.” just so you can have some peace of mind?
If anyone is thinking of getting a stick and wants to know what a finkle order is like this is how it went down for me:
- I send an intent to order + some details of what I’m looking for (not exactly full specs)
- He replies with price + shipping
- I send paypal + email that I sent paypal
- He replies confirming payment and asks for specs
- I send specs
- I send artwork for stick after I finish making it.
Some time later
- I ask how stick is coming along
- He sends pics
- I send new artwork cause I forgot to take into account parts of it might get covered.
Some time later
- I ask how stick is coming along
- He says almost done
- I say ok
- I receive stick in mail.
- Couple of followup emails, thank yous and whatnot, and we’re done.
btw, I don’t believe he has pics of my stick in his online album and my dig camera is broken so sorry, I can’t provide any shots.
Well, he asked me what specs I wanted. I sent him an email with which cases I was interested in and the exact parts I wanted. He never emailed me back with pricing info so I could pay him. I’ve sent him 4 or 5 emails over the last two months trying to get ahold of him again, but no luck.
That’s his e-mail, are you sending it to that exact address? I don’t understand what the probelm is here… weird.
