is finkle still doing sticks?
email him
Been trying to get a hold of finkle for the past bit now, no luck on any email responds, hope everything is ok.
man i need a stick, my fav builders hae all gone MIA or not doing work right now.
Yeah, I sent him an email two months ago…no response.
I sent finkle an email a week and a half ago and we’ve already finished the orderr and he’s currently building my stick. I don’t know how you guys aren’t getting responses. Try putting in more details in your email. My first email already had most of the configuration included plus my shipping location among other things.
Don’t just write:
hey, i’m looking for a stick are you still making them.
Make your emails legit, proper spelling, formatting, etc. Kinda like a cover letter. If you’re really that interested in buying one then I’m sure he’ll reply to you.
Honestly I wouldn’t reply to one or two liner emails myself. Those make it seem like the person isn’t that serious about it in the first place.
“Hi, I was reading on Shoryuken and I was interested in having a stick built if you are still in the business. Someone posted that you were done, but I figured I would ask anyway. If not, I understand. If you have the time, could you please email me back for any confirmation? Thanks, I appreciate it.”
I’m sorry, but I didn’t consider this a one sentence email. Plus, I didn’t want to bombard him instantly with what I wanted, and instead wanted to make sure he was in the business…
He probably just misses some in the process, I don’t even want to think about how many he gets. I made my order back in November and was just sending him some specifications on my art design and was asking a few questions. I’ve sent a few emails and haven’t heard anything back, though I’m not upset or anything, I understand how busy he is. Just hoping he may see something on here and look back to his emails. I don’t want to flood his inbox either since it already is being flooded heh.
Well he did say he had retired briefly from making sticks and has decided to come back just recently. Being in Toronto the weather would be pretty rough over the winter and I’d imagine he does his work outside in which case would make it impossible since we had a couple blizzards and -20 degree C weather. (I’m also from Ontario) and like you said you emailed him 2 months ago so perhaps if you tried again he’ll get back to you.
Another possibility is all his slots are full, and just hasn’t updated his post with this info.
Anyways good luck with a stick in the future.
I mean, it’s not a big deal, and like you guys said, I figured he was super busy anyhow. I’m currently having a stick built by pc1x1, so it turned out groovy in the end :).
I got pics of my stick and it is one beautiful piece of works that made me want to shed many manly tears TT_TT It’s painful not seeing a big ol’ box at my front door these days.
I think he said that after he was done sending out a few sticks he would be taking a break.
He receives my emails and responds right back all the time. He’s not retiring either, he’s just reducing his workload and the amount of orders he’s gonna take/do,
I sent an email to Finkle on the 7th and haven’t heard a thing. If people who just barely emailed him a week ago are already getting their orders taken… That makes me a sad banana :shake: Does Finkle check this thread anymore?
FINKLE! I NEED A STICK MAN! I would reaaaaaally prefer one of your sticks. Please pm me or respond to my email. Call me if you have to (my work number was in my email sig).
Hope you see this.
Thanks!

he answerd my email too. Crippled, with the amount of emails I assume he’s getting (a lot) it’s possible an email here and there may go unnoticed. Just send him another email.
Seconding. I spoke with him a few days ago.
He sent me one a few days back, he said he’d be sending me pictures of the stick soon <3
I resent the email to him this morning. Hopefully he sees it.
Thanks guys
It’s easier if you send him an email from a gmail account.
Well, I’ve been talking to finkle for the last 4 days and I’ve put my order in. He responded very fast every time by email. But, with another stick he’s making in the progress and reading this thread seeing other people talk about receiving pics of the arcade stick or receiving them or wanting to buy one, I expect him to be very busy. I hope I’ll receive my arcade stick within 2 months. I think thats a reasonable estimate having placed my order just the other day.
How does that make a difference? I don’t want to make things more confusing by sending him a 3rd email from a different address.
