thanks for the props man, I appreciate it! makes me feel that what i’m doing people really dig it and gives me reason to continue doing what I do. I wish I had time to make things more “pretty” but making so many sticks at once it makes it a daunting task but I do the best I can considering.
lol yea i found you on facebook as well, but decided not to ask your for an invite lol cuz i thought it would be odd or something. Cuz i dont really know you other than buying a stick form you O_O. Also um i got the stick back, need you talk to you in email again. Canada Post must hate me or something.
I was so excited when you came back and started taking orders on the forum again. I really liked the metal design of your boxes, and I can’t wait to see my stick once more progress has been made on it.
Oh, and due to some stuff that happened this weekend, I won’t have time to get my artwork done yet, but you probably don’t need the artwork till you are nearing completion anyways.
finkle, can’t help but notice in your sig… you support semitsu over sanwa? I’ve heard so many different random arguments, about how semitsu is supposed to be for shoot 'em ups and sanwa better for 3d fighters… or whatever. everyone’s opinions on their sticks and buttons seem to conflict with each other.
seeing how much experience you have with semitsu and sanwa, could I have your opinion on the pros and cons of both? sorry if you’ve answered this question a million times, feel free to direct me to a certain page if you have.
It’s all about preference. Its like asking which is better, Pepsi or Coke? You just need to try both and decide for yourself. I love the short throw and stick spring on the LS-32 but i cant use square gates at all, so i go with sanwa (although if Per gets those octagon gates made for LS-32, i’d be in heaven with Seimitsu).
which email address would that be? i’ll see if i got it or not
about the parts:
like they said its all about what feels right to the end user, for me I like how the seimitsu parts feel. one isnt really better than the other, I will say that sanwa makes their parts at closer tolerances than seimitsu and the overall plating of the metal parts is better too. putting those things aside if I had to choose between using an LS-32 joystick and a JLF I may be more partial to the LS-32 just because I like the overall quirkiness of it and the corners arent as well defined as the JLF. I’m lucky to have access to both so I can pick one or the other up at any given time of the day. at the end of the day its what you play best with and what works well for you. If you have never used either one and have used happ for 10 years, either the seimitsu or sanwa parts are fine to start with.
also which stick goes to Netural faster/better Seimitsu sanwa or hori. cause im all so a Tekken player as well as a Street fighter player i play everything i have a sanwa the stick im wanted to have revamped…and i dont think its all that kool.
I have about 3 free spots left, after that people are going to have to wait so whoever is interested in getting something done it’s first come, first serve basis. I know there are a few who are interested/committed to getting something made so act fast.
