Got mine. Loving it, but I may order an octagon housing or a 360 degree when I order my next stick. Having trouble pulling off fb motions w/ a square housing.
After a long anxious wait, I finally got the akira stick!
I will only be able to play with the stick for a little bit because I head off to school tomorrow morning, but after playing a good 10 minutes I’m already overly joyed so for those few hours today, it’s going to be pure bliss :lovin:

Akira is my favorite anime. It is a movie that made me rethink what anime was when I first got into it. So I wanted a nostalgic design, I missed out on the arcade scene when it was big and the akira theme kind of fit into what I was looking for. I haven’t
seen any one else do an akira design and that was another reason why I wanted it.

As soon as I started playing in training mode, I could already notice the difference between this and the SF anniversary sticks I would use when ever I was at a weekend gathering. I would have some difficulty using the happ sticks so to use a sanwa stick was a lot easier to use and fire off the commands that I wanted. I love the ball design and the buttons are great.
If this stick didn’t arrive yesterday or today I would of went to college with out it and probably not even touch Street Fighter 3s or any game for a long time.
Over all, it was a long wait, but the whole time I understood how busy Mr. Noel was with building other people’s sticks and having a life besides working on sticks.
It was worth the wait, and I’m glad I did business with one of the best stick makers on this forum and possibly in the world.

explanation of sorts
To my friends,
I haven’t been around for a good while, most times it’s been out of my hands and everyone who knows when things are out of one’s hands it’s really hard to control things and put things back the way they once were.
As some of you know I have been through a lot lately, it has slowed things down for me in my personal life and in my business side of things. I have had to deal with a death, break-up and for a while I was taking care of a family member who is quite old while my family was away. The funny thing is (not in a ha ha sorta way) this all seemed to happen at the same damn time. It made it tough to juggle both my personal life and my business so things were painfully slow in the stick business. I still say and I back my words that I will never take anyone’s money, rip anyone off or just be rude to people cuz whether people like me or hate me I treat all you guys good and the amount of sticks I have made have gone all over the world many times over. So somewhere I have a good relationship with you guys 
I have no real excuse to why things have been slow in the past except that when life knocks you on your ass sometimes it’s hard to get back up but the important thing is I’M BACK. I’m sure this has tarnished my image somewhat and it hurts me some because I take real pride in what I do and dare I say it i’m one of the best in the biz and I want to stay that way. I’m probably 85% where I would like to be and I know I had dodged a few requests simply so I could start fresh and with a new plan and a positive outlook on things cuz i’ll be honest for a while I was just going to finish up my orders and close up shop. BUT for the past 2 or 3 years I have built a nice rep and I want it to stay that way so I decided to stick around, no pun intended. If I stay around I need to make some changes to how I do things since like yourselves I dont like holding onto things longer than I have to and honestly I would like to go back to my old ways of everyone getting their shit in 2 weeks. This is a daunting task especially since my sales have increased around 1600% since I started but it can be done provided everyone plays nicely.
some new changes are:
If someone requests a japanese based stick (sanwa/seimitsu) it will come with a standardized enclosure unless stated otherwise. if someone wants a standardized enclosure naturally this speeds up the order since I can pre-fabricate them ahead of time so I just need to know the button layout and naturally the case color. case color isnt USUALLY an issue since most of y’all just want them black or white! the usual flavors of cases will be stocked: sloped, curved, flat
If someone wants a happ based stick I will have a design for that too and the same rules as above follow.
If someone wants something totally different/unique then I will build them something to their specs but one off things take time and perhaps you might be interested in my next suggestion/idea?
every month or so I will build a few truly unique sticks. They will vary in materials used and will be a top-of-the-line product. Not to say what I usually make isn’t but they will vary in complexity. this will be a future product.
I will make sticks for the following consoles: ps2, xbox, xbox360, dreamcast as standard issue. if there’s anything else someone might want, if you have a pcb you wish to be used send it to me! you may be eligible for a discount on your order if you do. just dont send me something that has seen better days and is on the virge of crapping out and blame me of making something that doesnt work
For example: if someone wanted an xbox360 stick made if you send me a controller to use for the project I would only charge you the going rate for a ps2 based stick instead of having to add 30 or more dollars to the price! lower end consoles such as the ps2, xbox or dreamcast the discount is much less since we know those controllers are a dime a dozen but 10 or 14 dollars here or there depending on the situation isnt a bad deal. but if you dont want to do that I can always accommodate for pretty much any console thats out there.
Parts: I can readily get most sanwa, happ and seimitsu parts but sometimes people request things that are getting harder to come by. this slows things down sometimes and its nobody’s fault, we dont always know what’s in stock or if something has been slowly discontinued. a perfect example is I placed an order from Japan for 60+ pieces of Seimitsu PS-14-K blue buttons, the order went through and I got an email back telling me they stopped making them. It’s small things like this that slow things down. but most common things are even some more obscure parts I can get but I will need to check ahead of time to see what’s in stock, will be in stock or in some cases magically discontinued. this can take a couple days for me to find out. I try to stock on hand the most common parts such as various colors of OBSN/OBSF-30 buttons, JLF joysticks, LS-32 joysticks and some of the more popular seimitsu buttons (stock permitting).
Communication: I don’t come on here as much as I would like to but I do check my mail quite often so as always if you cant seem to reach me here send me an email and if/when you do please put the word arcade, finkle or stick in the subject line so I can keep things organized. I may also put up a website, its something I have wanted for a long time but making sticks and dealing with things lately hasnt given me much time to put my creativity into that but I hope to really soon. if someone has any real concerns and have flat-rate north american long distance they can even call me or I can skype-out to anywhere in north america too. I really want to force the issue that I want everyone to be calm and to feel like their money is well spent and is going to the right cause which it is.

Hey Noel… just got my xbox 360 cases saturday. Thanks for everything man they came out perfect. Most definitely worth the wait. I added a usb charge port on the back also. Ill post some pics of the other case once I finish wiring it all up.
