Well it looks like you can use Magneto’s DLC costume through the save hack and now this is possible but I think it only works for the herald subboss characters from arcade e.g Wesker, Doom, Akuma, Dorm etc

Update: For some reason when you go to the license cards of your team with Mags Alt., it comes up as Hulk-Color 9 but its normal when you pick your team in the character select team

Dunno if anyone recalls me, I was the one that leaked some of the DLC assets from Marvel back during both its initial release (Jill\Shuma) and Ultimate’s (Costumes mostly). I’ve actually known how to do this for sometime now, but intentionally didn’t release it because I didn’t want to cause a shit-fest for the online community. I honestly am kind of appalled anyone did this - since although I’m not really a great player when it comes to fighting games I really do consider the FGC as part of my family.
Ironically, about a month ago I considered releasing this privately to certain people, primarily for allowing higher-tier players to have some fun in exhibitions during streams or the like, but things didn’t work out sadly, one of the contacts I went through couldn’t help with this one so I figured I’d sit on it awhile longer until I could get a hold of the right streamers. Obviously that never happened though, and it seems I sat on this a bit too long as well because someone else figured it out and decided to poop on everyone’s parade by making it a public thing and ruining online for everyone.
I’m pretty dejected, I have to say… But if anyone running any streams wants to set this up on their PS3 for exhibition matches or such, contact me via PM and maybe I can help you out. For everyone else, well… I’m sorry the online experience got pissed on for you, if it were up to me this never would have happened.

You can still get banned even if nobody reports you. If you got banned you’d lose everything you bought if its not on USB stick or hard drive. If your console gets banned too then you won’t even be able to play on another account.
I’d only do it on an offline only console or at least not connect to online while the hacked save is anywhere near my account.
I don’t think it would be too serious, the punishment, if it ever happens. I’ve been permabanned before for much worse. I know that the hex editing is against the ToS but its not being used to an advantage so if I were to get punished, I believe that the worst case scenario for me would be a temp account ban. They’ll only resort to permabanning to repeat offenders. I also think its rare for bans to happen out of the blue unless someone reports you and I’ve only played a hacked save with my friend online
