Willing to drop 150 bucks on a stick.
Or will pay someone to mod my Hori FS3 with seimetsu parts.
I want the best stick i can get for 150.
have you tried looking around in Chi-town for a place that sells the TE’s???
Buy a TE with MarkMans discount.

Take the Sanwa parts out and sell them, replace with Seimitsu parts.
2 questions…
Can i really trust the TE stick in terms of quality. I had an SE stick and it was the worst stick ive ever owned, seriously that shit busted after 4 hours of use… and im gentle as hell with my sticks.
Second and im sure this should be in tech talk, but im planning on gutting my hori soon one way or another, how hard is it to transfer the hori parts into a custom box… ive never really messed around with the internal workings of my sticks past replacing buttons so im kind of worried to mess with it since my FS3 is a fucking sturdy tank that i love and would cry if i fucked up.
edit: and is a TE really going to be the best value at around 150 or should i try and find a custom builder?
SE is shit, TE all the way, and call their service dept if your shit messes up, they’ll fix it for you.
If you use that discount code the TE should be less than 120$ shipped, IMO that is a great value considering buying the pcb, stick, & buttons + shipping will cost you close to 100$.
don’t rate the TE based on the SE. Two COMPLETELY different levels.
#1 player in the world uses a TE. ;D
i was just about to post this after i saw OP’s 2nd post.
I haven’t had a problem with my SE’s to be honest, I’ve got two of 'em one modded with seimitsu and the other is a semi custom SE that I did that is six buttons, no turbo/home panel (relocated), modded with all sanwa and neither one of those sticks have had any issues.
I would fish around for a used TE. I have a used MVC2 TE that I’ve used less than three hours on, it’s completely stock, and if I were to sell it, I’d say I’d let it for 100+ ACTUAL shipping.
Or you could always go custom and get it made how you want it.
I’ll take that MvC2 TE please, can you pm your email.
