This match is worth going out of your way to see. Inoki takes an absolutely brutal beating from start to finish. Vader beats the holy hell out of him and Inoki leans in and folds up for the entire match. There are points like that suplex where you’re honestly asking if he’s legit hurt.

This was a top 3 pick for my for 2006 Match Of The Year. The match has a couple of fuck ups (exhaustion will do that) and the selling is questionable at times (fighting spirit my ass) but the match is fantastic and really should be watched.
Somebody please find and put up the promo HBK did a couple of years ago while he was feuding with Hogan. It was the one in Canada where he was ripping on Bret Hart and played the old Bret theme music. It caused me to mark out like a 10 year old and drew the biggest heat I have ever seen.

That was a really solid match. I can’t remember if it was this one or the one for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight title but when Marufuji did that moosault from the apron to the outside and landed on the guard rail was just straight up nasty.
