Undertakers origin is about as logical as an episode of Heroes.
Best to not even bother trying to figure it all out.

Anyways, I’m at the airport and I just helped some dudes from Ghana find a flight because they forgot the paper at their house. It took every ounce of my being not to ask if they knew Prince Nana or scream “EMBASSY FOREVA!”

kama mustafa, later the godfather.

even when I was a kid I thought this was the single most gangster thing you could do against the undertaker. I was a fan of kama ever since.

Apparently Orton doesn’t like his face role right now…which makes no sense because he’s the same exact character he was a year ago only he does the Orton pose again. Orton has the fans to blame for cheering him. I don’t know if there’s a force on Earth that can turn the fans against him right now. Not even making Cena look like a chump is killing him even with the kid crowd…

Actually, the flashlight urn was before Kane’s debut and before the revelation that it was the urn of his parent’s ashes.

Basically, it was the source of the undertaker’s infinite power…when he was feuding with Yokozuna in the casket match at like Royal Rumble 94 or 93, all the heels came out and started beating him up (the first nwo style beat down from what I can remember) and he kept getting up until they stole the urn from paul bearer and opened it…then the undertaker’s power faded and they buried him in the casket.

Then paul bearer came back and brought out a larger urn with the flash light…face undertaker (with the purple gloves) came back to destroy Ted Dibiase’s heel undertaker (with the gray gloves).

This crap was enthralling to see as a kid.

Yeah, and if I’m not mistaken, the first separation with the Urn from Taker (at least to where he didn’t need it for his power or whatever) was after the Boiler Room Brawl with Mankind.

taker vs taker was one of the best angles ever
i remember renting the ppv on vhs when i was a kid just for that match alone

and idiots on youtube saying the fake one is trips, lol

totally forgot how amazing the jumping tombstone was, fuck so good

Yeah. He did it on Shawn Michaels’ last match. Caught me by surprise.

Random question: Is Mankind the only wrestler with a different intro and outro music? Mankind (original) was such a great gimmick. Well, Mick Foley made it a great gimmick.

Uh…idk. I know others do it from time to time, but he might’ve been the only one to do it consistently.

But you’ve inspired me. We need a question of a day thing in here. You know, to keep things fresh.

That might actually be cool.

Alright, I’ll start off easy enough, to which I might do a new one later today.

What was the first Wrestlemania Main Event to feature both wrestlers using their real name?

Are we talking about real name now…or before a name change

Cause I mean…there was Hart Austin but that’s before Austin changed his name, so if not, then its the shooting star botch heard round the world. Angle/Lesnar

I thought the questions would be bring up more of a discussion, like…

Will John Cena turning heel really help the WWE?

Well, we could do that too, but I’d do that midday, not late in the night like now.

Pretty sure SCSA’s real name is Steve Williams, unless it wasn’t before then. But yeah, Angle/Lesnar is right.

Figured that be too easy, but you know, just wanted to see if more people would post.

That and only that? No.

LindaMac not becoming a senator, giving up her ridiculous campaign letting WWE have a bit of loose reigns, then Cena turning heel would help the WWE.

Turning Cena heel is only as useful as creative is. Nexus was a good idea in theory, then creative completely screwed it up (Danielson getting fired/rehired during it did not help matters either…).

But here’s an idea. Each day, we do one Trivia Question, and one Question for Discussion. Trivia for fun, Discussion for decent activity.

Nah…Austin legally changed his name to SCSA…

Seriously? Damn, did not hear about that. When’d he do that?

But since at the time, his real name wasn’t SCSA back then, I’m not going to count that.

I think Debra mentioned it sometime around the Benoit thing…I think.

Hmm, well I know when he retired, he still has his normal name…hmm, needs looking into.

Okay, so he changed it to Steve Austin, my bad.

But VEEEEKEEEEEEPedia

In December 2007, the Wrestling Observer newsletter reported that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin legally changed his real name (Steven Williams) to his wrestling name Steve Austin.[54]
