Miz vs Randy alright but I could have done without Nexus randomly interfering. :bluu:

Eve winning was just awful. Then again Eve is awful with her fucking Werthers Original tights.

Rumble match was dope overall. Booker T and Diesel were some really hype mark out moments for me.

Del Rio winning caused me to jizz all over.

8 out of 10 from me.

Who did Alberto Del Rio fuck to get such a massive push in WWE? Seriously, I’m trying to figure out what makes him so special (His mic work is alright, needs some work. His wrestling is pretty good for what it is).

I like him, just curious as to why WWE is making it a big deal.

Nash/Booker Update:

While their strong live crowd reactions at the Royal Rumble could convince WWE to more extensively book Booker T and Kevin Nash for future television, neither is expected to wrestle with WWE for the long-term.

According to F4WOnline.com, Booker T is under a WWE contract, although the word prior to Sunday was that he was being eyed as a potential manager or ?Tough Enough? coach. The idea of Booker T wrestling in the veteran role is certainly on the table, but he was definitely expected to be prominently involved in other areas of the company.

With Kevin Nash, there definitely is no long-term deal on the table, and any additional use of the long-time Superstar would be a consequence of the crowd reaction. WWE did hint at something between Nash and Big Show, but it is unclear that such a match is indeed in the WrestleMania plans.

Fun PPV last night, despite the lack of Triple H and Awesome Kong. :tup:

one of the main reasons ADR is being pushed is because WWE wants him to be the next big latino wrestler. Rey’s contract is up in about 3 yeas iirc and he’s retirement (he’s 'taker tier in the injury department) so they are building up del rio as the next big latino star so when rey retires then can turn ADR face.
Plus, yeah, he’s great in the ring and has great mic work.

Also, WWE finally signed CMLL star Mistico to a contract. They tried in 06 apparently but according to a former executive at WWE a lot of people with some clout made it not happen.

Regardless of that though, WWE is looking for Reys replacement.

Oh yeah, speaking of Rey, he hand picked Cody Rhodes to have a feud with on smackdown and he wants it to be a program that lasts until Wrestlemania.

Why are you still using your master of electricity gimmick? You can’t have an alternate personality that is also a heel, doesn’t make sense.

Also Nash in WWE, wtf? I must watch this rumble. I also would like to see Booker T back in the ring in WWE, if he goes heel have him start a gang war with R-Truth.
