There’s a pretty decent Anti-TNA rant on WrestleZone’smain page.
Pretty typical complaints but I thought it was still a good read. The guy, Bob Bamber, tears into TNA’s booking, comments from Bischoff about fans wanting to see established stars instead new guys, etc. I don’t check out the website but I read this and thought it was pretty spot on for the most part.
I found this interesting too. It’s from RVD’swebsite and were comments the morning of the Hard Justice PPV.
From the blog post entitled, “DOING THE RIGHT THING”
RVD makes these comments and then a week later he’s vacating the belt and taking time off
So I looked some of the Del Rio vingettes and his promo from smackdown since I don’t get it.
Dude is going places and fast. He’s pretty much what Teddy Jr. is supposed to be. But mexican, and has charisma.
I honestly always thought it’s because WWE really limited his style. Although he’s not as good, he’s still far more entertaining than a lot of wrestlers. Eitherway, he still sells a lot of merchandise, so I think it’d be a stupid move to not push him.
Oh yeah, you’re right. I’ll just skip it then. I completely forgot about the Japan/China tour.
So, with Lashley’s loss, has the MMA door been shut in Batista’s face?
There are rumors of the two having a fight against each other, but after seeing Lashley lose to a guy that was supposed to be a cupcake, I can’t see that happening.
Lashley’s loss is obviously going to make any promoter question whether it’s worth it to invest big money in a pro wrestling guy. Lightning struck with UFC and Brock but what are the chances of it happening again especially with a forty year old Batista?
I know dude wanted to try his hand at the whole acting thing but I saw that movie he did with RVD and I just don’t see it happening for him.
I’m just wondering how long it’ll be before he shows up in a TNA/WWE ring. For a long time I’ve read that this guy somehow inherited the Ric Flair spending gene, so I’m sure he won’t be unemployed for long.
I think as of next week we will start seeing new recruits in the nexus. Without Bryan and Sheffield their in-ring threat is diminished.
I see nexus, among other things, as a vehicle for keeping NXT non-winners on TV. I could see them bringing in cottonwood, for example. What they really need is a storyline that rationalises their ability to recruit and to feud with the wwe establishment. Something like ted jr’s money and the new GMs favour perhaps. May be a bit close to nWo Dibiase and Bischoff though.
I don’t see how Skip being out is such a big deal. It’s just a broken bone. He’ll be back in no time. Meanwhile, just have Barrett cut a promo on how “vicious assault” on individuals is a cowardly act and won’t be tolerated. Demanding swift punishment from the iGM. From there either have the culprit be unknown or use it to give one of the mid carders a little push.
2 weeks ago, RVD got bloodied by Abyss when the whole Fortune/EV2.0 fight went down. Vacated then vacation lol. They started an 8-man single elim for the belt. The 4 men left (that will fight at PPV) are Hardy/Angle and Anderson/Pope. The winner of those 2 fight for the belt at B4G.
Dudley Boys are pretty much done with TNA. They’re contract expires next week and they haven’t renewed their contract and they aren’t scheduled to be at tonight or tomorrows tapings.
and Christie Von Eerie (super hot) is getting a try out match with TNA tonight.
apparently she’s been doing a lot of AAA stuff this past year. I know she feuded with Joey Ryan in PWG and she was Moxleys valet at a DGUSA show. But I didn’t know about her AAA stuff.
But yeah, if she does get signed the name change is a given. Even if its just Christina Eerie I’d be fine with that.
Also, if she does get signed its obvious they’ll put her with Daffney and have them be TNA’s version of the Scream Queens. Which is kinda stupid since SHIMMER loans a lot of their talent to TNA so I don’t see why they couldn’t just bring up MsChif.
But I guess I’m not a brilliant business woman like, Dixie is. So wtf do I know?
Hope she can still do AAA she’s pretty good there with Jennifer Blake, speaking of AAA its cool to see Damien 666 again he looks just like one of my uncles
