I don’t know…I think Randy was right regarding Eugene. Randy helped him get his job back but Eugene comes back out of shape. I’d be a little upset too.

And Rhaka Khan speaks.

TNA Knockout Trenesha Biggers, aka Rhaka Khan, gave her first public interview since the Kurt Angle arrest incident this morning with WPXI channel 11 in Pittsburgh.

When asked about her current status with TNA Wrestling, Khan stated, “I was told that by filing the PFA I was forcing them to choose between the two of us. I knew that when I filed it. I knew there was no way I was probably going to be able to work there anymore.”

In regards to Kurt Angle, Khan said, “I’ve forgiven so many times for what he’s done to me, and I’ve been around him and been fine, but now, he’s gone and slandered me. In the wrestling ring, you got to be able to trust the person you’re working with and know that they’re not going to hurt you.”

Not sure who to believe in this story but I do think that Rhaka got a bad deal.

Rhaka got a bad deal, I definitely agree, but ever since that whole Kongtourage with her, SoJo and Kong, Khan kinda just got dropped.

Either that or some super bizzare thing of Camel Clutch + Walls of Jericho which results in MVP using a Drive By on Show.

And WWE should have given Dinsmore something else other than Eugene…I dunno, that gimmick still just feels strange and I’m pretty sure Dinsmore is capable of so much more. Then again…Eugene is kid friendly…

Some news about TNA’s new direction…

An update on the current creative direction in TNA is that Vince Russo’s acting as the lead writer but Dixie Carter is in charge of the big picture. There is no outright philosophy other than it’s noted they seem to be going in a more sports-oriented direction. It was noted how the referees are given more power.

It’s said that Dixie wants to have more of an emphasis on pushing newer guys like Hernandez, who is one of her favorites, Bobby Lashley and Matt Morgan.

The announcing changes are also part of moving in a more sports-oriented direction. Replacing Don West with Taz was done in part to have a more sports-like announcing team with less of the two hours of high-energy Don West style that Jeff Jarrett was in favor of.

And regarding new tag team titles…

As noted before, TNA will begin a tournament this week on iMPACT to crown the first-ever Knockout Tag Team Champions. This is probably another move being done because of Jeff Jarrett being out of power.

Jarrett was always firm about having only three titles - the World Title, the X Division Title and Tag Team Titles, before he added the Knockouts Title and then the Legends Title. There had been talk at times of having an X Division Tag Team Titles but Jarrett always felt the more belts you have, the less important they are.

Five of the teams in the tournament are Sarita & Taylor Wilde, Awesome Kong & Raisha Saeed, Traci Brooks & Sharmell, Tara & Christy Hemme and The Beautiful People. They might add ODB & Cody Deaner as a team for some comedy.

Organized Chaos: Is TNA Ready for a Run?

TNA is preparing for a war. Although not the Monday Night variety, they are ready to finally state their claim in the wrestling world.
Over the last couple months TNA has been chipping away at their roster and adding the crucial pieces they need to become a real threat to the monster that is the WWE.
They were able to steal away two of the WWE’s key storytellers, Mick Foley and Taz. While Mick Foley has received some criticism for winning the world title while younger wrestlers like Styles and Joe have been pushed aside, he is at the least an addition by WWE’s subtraction.

Taz will dramatically alter the way viewers see, and more importantly hear, the Impact broadcast. Moving Don West to merchandising for the more likeable and more relatable Taz is a no-brainer.
While so many people have criticizing TNA for adding ex-WWErs, even calling TNA WWE-lite, those screams haven’t be heard with the additions of Taz or their newest in-ring talents Bobby Lashley and D’Angelo Dinero (Elijah Burke).

In fact, their acquisitions of Lashley and Dinero have been seen as long overdue and have been praised.

TNA is looking to freshen up their roster, in both the men’s and Knockouts’ division and it’s panning out big time.

TNA continues to beat the WWE in the ratings overseas, mostly due to a slightly less cartoonish style broadcast. And they triumph WWE Superstars and are eyeing Smackdown on a weekly basis.
Another plus is the TNA house-show. Anyone who has ever attended both a WWE and a TNA house-show knows that TNA puts on a better house-show. To be honest, it’s not even close.
TNA has better fan interaction and the wrestlers treat each house-show as if it were live on TV. While the WWE continues to try and make their wrestlers larger than life, TNA has FREE autograph signings after the show. It’s the little differences that matter.

What’s missing for TNA is the PPV bookings. They’re just bad. Unfortunately, even for hardcore TNA fans, TNA fails to engage.
It’s sad to see them continue to push the Main Event Mafia, when it never got off the ground in the first place. It’s time to give the fans what they want, a company led by a younger crew.

If you want Nash, Steiner, and other ex-WCW stars in the mix to attract casual viewers, fine. Just don’t have them headlining the shows. Plus, WCW was in its prime 10 years ago. Many of the new fans barely know more than their name. Let’s go back to what brought you to the dance in the first place…the X-Division.

With that being said, we do see TNA making an Impact. President Dixie Carter will be making her TV debut tomorrow after several years. The crazy thing is, most TNA fans already know her before they could identify Cody Deaner, Big Rob, Daffney, and other wrestlers who are on TV on a weekly basis.

What does this mean for Mrs. Carter and the future of TNA? Will she continue to appear on future TNA shows or is it a onetime thing to add emphasis on Lashley’s signing? Either way, I’m curious.
TNA just signed a 3-year extension with Spike TV. And there are rumors of an X-Division spin-off, much like there were rumors of a Knockouts spinoff months earlier, which has caught the attention of many.

We see that the WWE is stealing TNA’s idea for a themed PPV (Breaking Point) and there’s no question that they have their eye on TNA.
Impact broadcasts are improving weekly, and if they can stay away from cheap finishes and puts an end to the MEM storylines and go for a more unique idea, it won’t be long until TNA is contending with Smackdown and making a run at WWE.

Ugh! Really? Knockout Tag titles?? WTF? I mean really the only great women wrestlers in TNA off the top of my head, imo, is Wilde, Sarita, Flash, Tara and (kinda) ODB. Hemme is okay…haven’t seen her in a while so I can’t give an opinion on her. Love has stepped up a bit but otherwise, its just bathroom and food break time.

But I agree that with the more belts you have, the less important they are. I honestly thought that the Legends title was going to be like Taz’s FTW title (even though it changed hands). TNA just needs to take things up to…well…the extreme haha. Bring in the weapons, shed some blood. You do that, you’ll pull a lot of the WWE fan base but thats because I like weapons and when you have weapons, it adds a whole new dimension.

all those spin off shows will hurt them in the long run, what makes tna stand out? its knockouts and the x division if you give THEM their own shows whos going to want to tune in to see regular tna? overseas broadcast dont mean shit to wwe since they are mostly aired at late night in highlights.

They are only beating WWE in the UK Market because TNA airs at like 9PM compared to Raw which airs at like 4am.

Also, Dixie has no idea what the fuck she is doing. If she did they wouldn’t have the 6 sided ring, she’d fire every big named ex-WCW/WWE guy there except for Lashley, Morgan, Tenay and Taz. This includes backstage people like Russo, BG James, Kip…etc.
If she knew what she was doing she’d get rid of the legends title and not be a total dumb ass and say no to hiring bookers like Heyman and Sapolski.

Their ratings on average are 1.1 which is barely above Superstars. WWE beats them clean in every other aspect including PPV buy-rates which TNA barely gets over 2000. I think there best all year has been 3000? While WWE is always in the 10’s of thousands or hundreds of thousands.

TNA has nothing on WWE.

TNA needs just the World, Tag, X-Division, and Knockouts Titles. That’s it.

WWE needs the World, Tag, IC, and Women’s. Title.

Something that I think WWE should do in regards to Night of Champions is have some sort of tri branded tournament to see who would represent each brand in a triple threat title match for the respective title. I don’t know how that would work but it would be interesting to see Orton vs Punk vs Christian for the World Title or something like that.
