Heat on abraham washington.

@ sd ending spoilers. is it real or a work?

Fuck Abraham Washington

re

Face/Heel Shelton just went face/heel.

Did anyone else see the WCW DVD yet? I caught the documentary disc so far, pretty good watch for the most part. They glossed over a ton of stuff, but that’s to be expected with a 2-hour cutoff on the documentary portion. I thought they were a little rough on Bill Watts, but otherwise not too bad or really inaccurate. It’s a nice companion piece to the Death of WCW book and a few other books in that style.

The match list for the extras looks great and I’d recommend the DVD based on that alone.

Why would it be a work? Everyone knows Punk was billed to win at the Cage Match and everyone has known for months Jeff Hardy was leaving after summerfest. Well, except for Ben who for whatever reason thought it was one big company wide swerve.
Suck it, ben.

Speaking of which.

I really hope he doesn’t come back. Stay gone, Jeff. Please.

^sd spoilers from last page.

Most sites who have reviewed the DVD have said the documentary side of the DVD is bullshit but the matches are all really good and are reason enough to buy the DVD.

Minus the wellness in the past, Jeff Hardy seemed liked a pretty good addition to WWE. He started to grow on me especially in the last month with his feud vs Punk. The matches have been exciting, and all the setups put them both over. Plus as far as I know, I guess, Jeff doesn’t seem to have any kind of ego or agenda backstage compared to a few other guys from what I always read. Jeff didn’t once bury Punk.

We all know that feud was some good shit. So I can’t even hate, Jeff Hardy leaves on a pretty positive note imo.

I’m not saying the program with Jeff/Punk was bad. I just don’t like Jeff. I never have. Even back when he and Matt were team extreme I hated them because they looked like the smelly goth kids who always played DDR at the arcade I went to. I didn’t start liking Matt til V.1 and the whole Edge/Lita thing.

Plus Punk carried the entire feud promo wise. What’s the most Jeff said? “I’M HERE PUNK! IN YO FACE!” or something along those lines. The monotone enigma should not be given a mic. Ever. Yet he is a lead singer for a band, what the fuck kind of world is this?

I don’t really have much to say about his ring work except a lot of it is really predictable. I know you can say that with a lot of top cards, even some mid carders but you could literally see set ups for everything which made his matches boring to me. But he and punk complimented nicely off of each other in the ring.

Except Punk is straight edge so he’s better than Hardy.

Fuck that, you are being a hater stu. Aside form his promoing needing help, Jeff Hardy has been great since the draft.

This feud with punk was the best all year. Lets hope SD keeps its role as the wrestling show and continues to blow our minds. Go go SD.

PS - Yes, it was more Punk finally getting his chance to be awesome, but the feud was still very entertaining on both sides. Jeff helped everything with his faceness and extremitivity.

I thought the Hardy’s were much cooler back in the day, when they had their feuds with Edge and Christian, and all that brood shit that was going on and ended.

Him being monotone yet being the lead singer for a band, is nothing new. Alot of singers have monotone voices when talked to. I’m sure you’ve heard Mariah Carey speak, you could probably youtube an episode of cribs she was in, and that’d be good enough. I’d probably go as far as saying alot of musically influenced and talented performers of some kind’s voices are toned down when spoken to. Atleast he doesn’t sound like a socially devoid robot, like alot of very very hardcore video gamers do.

VS: yeah I definitely agree, Jeff stepped his WWE game way up, and the feud was just on point. Jeff was on some good shit ever since the draft, you’re right.

I agree. The Punk/Hardy feud has been one of the best all year and probably one of the best in years.
And I never said Jeff was a bad worker I just find his work boring, but I also said Punk and him play well off eachother in matches so Jeff is actually worth watching.

Jeff being a baby face druggy guy (!?!?!) helped build Punk. Punk made Jeff Hardy matches worth watching.

It just sucks now because Punk is going to job to Undertaker in 3 weeks at breaking point. :frowning:

The Hardy/Punk feud was bizzarro.

The face was a crazy faced painted extreme druggy and the heel was a guy who abstains from vices and only wants to win.

Welcome to 2009!

Basically Punk and Hardy took each other to new levels of entertainment. Pretty much what Punk did with Morrison. It’ll be cool to see Taker back, but I’d like him to retire soon. Just let Morrison, Punk, Ziggler, the harts, cryme tyme, and get Swagga or MVP over there too to go to town.

hey shut up :lol::lol:

I was just paranoid because of vince swerving the marks with the “lets invite flair to be backstage and fool the internets into thinking he’s GM, then do all the trump shenanigans.”

I’ll just believe whatever you guys tell me to believe now :arazz:

I don’t read most sites, so I’m going by what I’ve read before and actually saw on the DVD, and not anyone else’s opinions. They could have easily took a big dump on WCW but opted not to. There was a lot that went right and then a lot that went wrong, which was accurate. Did anyone else besides me see it yet?
