Well it’s true lol, the last month of "guest host"is directly out of the late era WCW. The first 26 minutes of this week’s raw was a complete joke, why Vince thinks 40+ year old man acting in there 20’s is somehow"appealing"is beyond me. it’s even more funny when they try to pull of a"rebel without a cause"personal yet one of them is ur son in law and has access to the company jet lol.
Yeah, the difference is, aside from ZZ and FPJ the WWE has gotten celebs people actually cared about. Their ratings prove it. Trump and Shaq drew their biggest ratings of the year.
Jay Leno? Carl Malone? Dennis Rodman? DAVID ARQUETTE?
No one gave a fuck about them, ever.
WWE is not a sports medium any more, it’s an entertainment medium so because of this, they use their flagship show as their entertainment side of their company. Guess stars, bigger promo’s and skits, things of that nature. Us as people (all 15 people who post) not watching it or bitching about it isn’t going to change it. Ever.
It will change when Vince and Co. wants it to.
And Vince whether we like it or not is doing everything right and making bank off of it. WCW didn’t.

The WWE is not drawing the ratings it used to, and given the appearant frustration from vince and Co. backstage over the lack of generationg"stars’…I would say his recent actions are more a act of desperation then brilliant bussiness sense. PPV venue’s are down, and TV rating’s fluctuate…it isn’t all sunny in WWE land.He doesn’t know how to connect with the audience anymore, at least to the degree he did once before. Not to mention i was referencing the quality of the product…he can get a 8.9 rating with a all midget raw venue but that stll doesn’t mean the show is great.
The quote agaisnt the WWE simply remarked over the how the quality of idea’s from raw is very identical to late era WCW. I understand the idea behind"sports entertainment"so this isn’t anything new to me, I was simply commenting over the quality of Raw more then anything else. TNA isn’t perfect either obviously, so while borash might be right on his assertions about the WWE he isn’t in a better situation himself.

The shit was ALMOST funny when he was messing with Carlito. they had enough sense to keep it short then. Now it’s not even good enough to be train-wreck TV. At least the Colin delany getting raped by the biggest monsters in ECW thing kept its funny. Even Yoda can’t make this little green men thing funny anymore.
