Lol. Some of the Best of DVDs are meh. I’m not really high on Strong’s earlier work, I think the best of it was from the Gen Next days when he had Aries and Shelly to work with a lot. In the last few years I think he’s improved a lot and his FIP and recent ROH work is good. Never really impresses me on the mic, but he can work.
For me the biggest problem with a lot of the “Best Of” dvd’s is that they came out way to earlier in a guys career. They just don’t have enough of a body of work to make a full set come off so you see matches that would not be on the dvd if it came out today. I just hope that ROH puts out new sets for Nigel and Danielson since they have footage from the start to the very end of their ROH runs.
The new Bryan Danielson best of is ho-hum. It only has 6 matches. Should have been a mutli disc unless they plan on releasing multiple volumes but even then…
The “Rise to Glory” isn’t the best. I think/hope that they will later on do an entire retrospective of him. They still own all the footage so they can use it and just in the past year (Rise to Glory ended with late '08) Danielson had some of his best matches.
If you don’t have it yet the “Please Don’t Die, Best of Paul London” is great. The shit that guy was doing in early ROH was completely insane.
Please Don’t Die is a great DVD. Didn’t they release another Samoa Joe best of after he left the company? I would be surprised if they missed the opportunity to make some money once the guys are on TV.
As a random aside, and because I hate myself, I just rewatched Hogan v Warrior Halloween Havoc 98. I remember it being awful, but I don’t remember it being 20 goddamn minutes. What a couple of jackasses.
I can’t find The Best of Paul London anywhere. I went to ROH, Highspots and RF with no luck.

Knockouts are a given since they have the best ones in the business right now, save for Mickie James and Beth Phoenix. The only thing I would do is have ODB drop the title to one of the new or better Knockouts like Taylor Wilde or Hamada.
There is a few others things I would change but that’s just off the top of my head.
ODB can work good, she has been pulling better matches then either mickie or beth as of late and she presents good variety. Morgan should be fired, the guy cannot wrestle worth anything…at least abyss has been in good matches. Morgan’s only appeal is that he has somewhat okay mobility…which doesn’t amount to anything since he can’t wrestle or doing anything aside from bad spots.
stfu evo. Abyss is terrible and has no reason to be in the title picture. Morgan just needs a better finisher and how to cut promo’s or get a mouth piece. Which is much better than I say for Abyss.

While I agree that the Suicide gimmick wore out it’s welcome over a year ago, I firmly think Kaz deserves a roster spot. He’s spotty sometimes, and can’t really carry a title, but he can work and you’ve got to have x-division midcarders too. Even as just a hold out from the early years of the company he’s got a place.
From what I’ve read Booker is on his way back to WWE & he bet not go to RAW.I get sick & tired of all the returning wrestlers always wanting to go on RAW.I hope he hasn’t forgotten how Triple-H did him dirty in the past especially in 2007.Booker’s best WWE run IMO was in 2006 when he had Regal & Finlay but thanks to Dusty Rhodes-if ya will-decided that Booker is more suited as a comedy heel than serious heel much to Vince’s dismay.
