Well…there is NOTHING near the University of Phoenix Stadium in terms of entertainment. Reason being: it sits in the middle of nowhere.

And to be honest, there really isn’t a whole lot that goes on in downtown Phoenix. Your best bet is to go to Tempe. It’s about 10 minutes east of downtown Phoenix. It’s where Arizona State University is so it has lots of bars and clubs. Phoenix has a light rail that runs from Phoenix to Tempe but goes no where near U of P Stadium as it’s in Glendale, Arizona.

Only thing that i dont like about Joshi is that some of them are fucking brutal and dont sell anything, i mean im one for stiff shit but when you look like your actually trying to kill them then i stop popping. other than that i will add that Arisa Nakajima was the hottest :wgrin:

ProWrestling.net is reporting that TNA star Booker T will likely be finished with TNA after his contract expires which is reportedly sometime in November. The belief right now is that Booker is unhappy with the company, and he also has a lot of backstage heat on him within TNA management because of recent behavior.

Most recently, Booker refused to put over Matt Morgan at the last set of Impact tapings, and he had a meeting just the day before with TNA President Dixie Carter where the two reportedly worked out some of the issues both sides were having with each other. Apparently that meeting did little to no good as Booker went ahead and refused to job to Morgan.

Additionally, Booker’s behavior on the last TNA overseas tour was described as “disruptive,” and he even refused to work a tag team match with Scott Steiner, as we reported, when the fans began to throw chairs into the ring. Booker was reportedly telling those backstage in TNA that he has plans to return to WWE, and always has that option available which he claims he most likely will exercise.

Concerning the Matt Morgan issue, there is apparently no heat between him and Booker T, it was more a matter of Booker feeling that it was a creative mistake for him to lose to Morgan on TV rather than on a PPV. Additionally, Booker did not inform TNA management about his decision not to job to Morgan until 45 minutes before the Impact taping, which made it very difficult for the creative team to re-write the segment.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Umaga has claimed that he will be returning to WWE. He was scheduled to participate in a shoot interview in the near future, however he has since backed out claiming that he is returning to WWE and therefore cannot do the interview. It should be noted, however, that he may have just used the WWE return excuse as a way of getting out of the interview if he simply changed his mind and didn’t want to do it. We will have more on this developing story as it becomes available.

There are reports circulating around the internet that “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s cancer has returned and that the ring legend is dying. PWInsider.com is reporting that those rumors are completely untrue and that according to sources close to Piper, he is dealing with a health issue which has caused him to back out of scheduled appearances, but the issue is not cancer related and he is in fact not dying.

Roddy Piper health situation - he does not have cancer

*Rumors floating around today regarding the health of Roddy Piper appear to be unfounded and while Piper has taken time off from all appearances due to doctor’s orders, he is expected to start back on an appearence schedule at the end of the month.

According to Piper’s agent, Noelle Kim, who talked with him yesterday, he is doing well. She said after the filming of a recent movie, he was told by doctors that he needed to take a break from acting and personal appearances and is taking the break.

“He does not have cancer,” she said. “He’s been going at it without a break since he was a teenager and the doctors told him that he needed a rest.”

Piper suffered from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, diagnosed in 2006 after he was in great pain while wrestling on a WWE tour of Europe. He had beaten the cancer and had been doing acting gigs and personal appearances, and was traveling virtually every week until pulling out of his recent bookings.*
