Wrestling Thread v.4 - WELCOME BACK AMERICAN DRAGON!

Watching DBDVII right now and am on the Colt Cabana vs Joey Ryan match. I know that Joey Ryan has alot of heat from alot of wrestlers and fans, does anyone know why?

just cuz he’s like a kurt angle status heel…basically a perma heel.

So people actually hate him(not I am a bad guy heat but people really fucking want him to die) just because he plays a heel? Does not compute :xeye:

morishima agrees

He’s just too greasy, it must be legit. But for real I think he’s a good worker, I have no idea why people would hate him in real life. Unlike SJK, for instance.

Hopefully today I get my dvd’s I ordered.

Straight Shootin’ with Lance Storm
Straight Shootin’ with Percy Pringle 1 and 2
Straight Shootin’ with Percy Pringle and Jim Cornette

I have all of these and I hope you like old school stuff because that is ALL that gets talked about on these sets except for the Lance Storm one. I always enjoy seeing the ones with Percy though since I’ve met the guy numerous times (he lives about 45 minutes from my house) and my buddy actually trained at his school and worked for his promotion. I can’t remember if the interviews are pre or post gastric bypass but the dude was fat as fuck before he went under the knife. Cool guy though and always has great stories.

The Lance Storm shoot is a lot like the Christian shoot video. Both guys are very polite and genuinely nice. They have really no grudges so don’t go looking at the video for Lance to mud sling on other workers. He is polite and just has a nice talk about his career with a few stories. No bitterness or anything like that, just a nice guy giving a refreshing interview compared to the ones where the guys only want to bury everyone else (the VKM shoot).

You aren’t the only one man. That was some heartwrenching shit.

I shudder to think how I’ll react if someone else dies so randomly…

Botchtista

i was at the mall the other day and for some reason my friends were walking all fast and they were kinda leaving me behind so they turned around and asked me why i was walking slow and i told them its because im a heel

Has there been a whole Botchtista song or can I add more?

I’m not to familiar with old school stuff like the old territories if that’s what you were referring to, but this is a good chance to learn more about it and then research it on my own. You and a few others speak so highly of the “good ol days” they have to be worth looking into. :stuck_out_tongue:

I figured the Lance Storm shoot wouldn’t be “blah blah blah this person did this and is a dick face and blah blah blah blah wwe did this wrong” cause he doesn’t seem like that kind of a guy. He knows it’s a business and he treats it as such. Most videos I have watched have been like that (The Johnny Devine shoot I posted in v.3 is a pretty good example) so I’m happy to hear that the Lance Storm shoot is no different.

gah damn it.

manly tears.

do I even need to watch anything else on the show now?

Just watched that video.@cole "Vintage Shrimp"
sheik killed me “WOOWOOWOO YOU KNOW IT JABRONI!”

Hey is that my old AOTF av Stu?

Might as well be. I had someone make it for me last night. :stuck_out_tongue:
Been reading up on Age of the Fall and now I want to watch all feuds and stuff they were in.

I ordered “Man Up” last night to see the debut of them so I’m pretty excited. I’m sure you know a bit about them. Any DVD’s with them that stand out as “holy shit!” moments or matches that are worth looking into?

Just catching up on the TNA that I didn’t stream on Thursday. TNA Security is getting pushed more than half of there wrestlers.

Security spends more time in the ring than MCMG and Lethal Consequences combined. They’ll also get tag title shots long before them.

one of the security guards was elijah burke. lol

LOL This post killed me for some reason.
