Zulu: I agree with most about what you said about Orton. I do agree he plays the role of the “evil, conspiring” heel pretty well, but yesterday’s RAW was definetly NOT the way to book him going into HIAC. I mean, he came out when Y2Big just demolished Cena all over, takes his time glancing at Cena, and then Cena lowers the cell and BOOM! Orton does jack SHIT!
I dunno if this should follow the principle of “whoever stands tall before the PPV loses” mentality, and Orton is supposed to win at HIAC, but damn…at least try to make it believable. :bluu:
Then again, Orton and Cena are booked to appear in this week’s SD, so maybe Orton will be the one looking strong before HIAC, and then lose to Cena (because I doubt they will take the strap off Cena this soon).
Man, you will just hate on anything just for the sake of being a dick, huh?
Brock was fuckin’ TIGHT! The guy put up consistent 3-to-5 star matches against pretty much the biggest names in the business: Krazy Kurt, Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, The Rock, Big Show, etc… The only stinkers I remember from him was with Hardcore Holly (which I blame mostly on Holly being a dick), and Goldberg (where you could tell that he just didn’t give a shit anymore).
Sure, I mean, his mic work was horrible due to that Mike Tyson-Chipmunk voice of his (which even Lashley stole from him), but that’s not really the point. He was supposed to be a silent killing machine, with Paul Heyman doing the talking for him, until he broke off from Heyman and had to go solo, thus forcing him to speak for himself.
But seriously, everybody just wants to rub Brock’s botched SSP at WM XIX like it was the only thing he did in the WWE.
