Wrestling Thread v.4 - WELCOME BACK AMERICAN DRAGON!

It isn’t JUST Orton. People are tired of Cena, DX, and the lack of using the future of the WWE (Kofi, Swagga, Miz, Masters, Bourne and friends). One of the things that Raw needs to do is TURN CENA HEEL!!! At this point, a Cena heel turn would be comparable to Hogan’s heel turn in 1996. It would really set the wrestling world on fire.

And this silly Raw guest host thing needs to end too. Shaq was funny. Everyone else…notsomuch.

I agree on the guest host thing. Bob Barker, Slaughter troll on Canada, and Piven heel turn were the only 3 good things to come out of it.

You have someone better in mind to play the lead heel? I mean that seriously, for right now and not 6 months in the future. I’m with Zulu on this for sure, and anyone else that mentioned the piss poor flipflop booking. I can’t even understand what Orton’s real character is anymore. Didn’t I read a months back that Orton basically does what he’s told even if he might not agree with it? Same deal with Cena?

I don’t even want to comment on the waste they made with Brock leaving. There is a good reason why people were really pissed when he left…probably the same reason why they pushed him so hard in the first place. I’ve never seen Big Show get pushed like that in his career for that long (about 2 full years, I believe) - do the math IMO.

The only other heel I can think of is St. Jericho but he’s with Big Slow and they’re spending more time on SD than on Raw beating up black people. Orton is the only heel that Raw has.

Why doesn’t that last sentence sound grammatically correct to me? :wonder:

seems to me jerishow beats up black people wherever they go. they need to head over to ECW and beat up arsenio hall and tony atlus… but that would probably get them cheered.

Zulu: I agree with most about what you said about Orton. I do agree he plays the role of the “evil, conspiring” heel pretty well, but yesterday’s RAW was definetly NOT the way to book him going into HIAC. I mean, he came out when Y2Big just demolished Cena all over, takes his time glancing at Cena, and then Cena lowers the cell and BOOM! Orton does jack SHIT!

I dunno if this should follow the principle of “whoever stands tall before the PPV loses” mentality, and Orton is supposed to win at HIAC, but damn…at least try to make it believable. :bluu:

Then again, Orton and Cena are booked to appear in this week’s SD, so maybe Orton will be the one looking strong before HIAC, and then lose to Cena (because I doubt they will take the strap off Cena this soon).

Man, you will just hate on anything just for the sake of being a dick, huh?

Brock was fuckin’ TIGHT! The guy put up consistent 3-to-5 star matches against pretty much the biggest names in the business: Krazy Kurt, Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, The Rock, Big Show, etc… The only stinkers I remember from him was with Hardcore Holly (which I blame mostly on Holly being a dick), and Goldberg (where you could tell that he just didn’t give a shit anymore).

Sure, I mean, his mic work was horrible due to that Mike Tyson-Chipmunk voice of his (which even Lashley stole from him), but that’s not really the point. He was supposed to be a silent killing machine, with Paul Heyman doing the talking for him, until he broke off from Heyman and had to go solo, thus forcing him to speak for himself.

But seriously, everybody just wants to rub Brock’s botched SSP at WM XIX like it was the only thing he did in the WWE.

If Legacy and Cena don’t go over on Sunday, I have no clue what they are planning for in the next few months towards Wrestlemania. Maybe the bookers don’t even know? That might explain the stranger than usual pattern they are following lately.

Damn…

I like how when I tune in to the final moments on RAW I just get the tail end of Hulk Cena getting the tar beat out of him only to pop back up later and Attitude Blah-Justment-ed Orton as if the last two hours never happened (almost reminds me of how Hogan treated Vader in WCW).

I like how…When you got a team like Crymetime who’s NEVER officially held tag team gold but WWE’ll just put two fools together for a minute and say they have a better chance of getting titles.

I guess I’ll skim thru the RAW recording. Heard there was some decent stuff under the dog crap. Guess it’s ECW and TNA to look forward to now :bluu: Oh yeah…and some of SD.

The Rock will be on SD.

some news…break a leg, Jeff!

This made me drop my milk for some reason…

I remember you saying something about this but you didn’t go into detail.

But this makes sense. To me anyway. :wonder:

In a pre-taped segment. :wonder:

Jericho, Show, Christian, MVP, Swagga, etc etc. Alot of people are more credible then Orton, Drew Mcintyre has been in the WWE for a cup of coffee and he already gets more natural boos then Orton. Most of Ortons shit is piped in.

everyone has piped in cheers and boos thats not natural what are you talking about???

happy birthday Sanford:party:

Jae Hoon bringing the truth on Orton. Anything Orton does is a bore, hell I remember at wrestlemania people being bored out of there minds with the final match

I’d give a arm, a leg just to see The Rock come up there live and slap the Hogan outta Cena. Love him or hate him all you want but Lesner was a beast, pure and simple. Him and Psycho Angle went at it a few times overseas too.

I’m finding it very hard not to hate on Cena overall as opposed to how they “book?” him. I wouldn’t mind him winning matches but the way it happens don’t make any damn sense to me. Can’t limp or crawl his way to victory after getting beat…oh no :bluu: He’s gotta make take the 99.9 of the asswhuppings he’s took in a match look completely noexistant (Jericho was probably shaking his head when he saw that mess last night). I’m not going to sit here and say I know everything about how a proper match should go but I be wondering what be on folks’ minds when they come up with some of the stuff they do. Rant over :bluu:

On the real though, I’m looking forward to what happens in WWECW which amazingly enough; seems to be removed from the RAW and SD madness at the moment.

MVP is starting to bore me. Not saying that I don’t like him but he needs to be pushed to the moon. Along with those you mentioned.

And I really like Drew McIntyre. Reason he gets booed so much is that American’s hate anything with an accent. :razzy:

Going back to Orton for a bit: This is a interview with famous serial killer Richard Kuklinski. If you really pay attention, you can see numerous similarities between him and Orton. Both are well spoken, cold, emotionless, talk really slow, and just plain creepy. This guy fascinates me to no end. Austin even said that this guy was partially responsible for his ‘Stone Cold’ gimmick.

Aumaga? :wtf: Mommy, can I go home now?

-Starhammer-

<— tired of seeing the same people face each other over and over again

(although chavo teaming up with masters was a surprise last night)

Lol @ SD being on top of Raw.

And  for not having ECW in the mix.

Miz and Morrison on Good Day LA

It should be noted that Good Day LA sucks ass.

Why does that matter when half of them are on both shows.
