Steiner News

The PWTorch Newsletter is reporting that TNA star Scott Steiner has been telling friends backstage in TNA that he does not plan to work for the company much longer. Steiner is very close friends with Jeff Jarrett, and since Jarrett’s TNA future is on the fence, it seems as if Steiner feels like there’s no reason for him to be in TNA if Jeff doesn’t return sometime soon.

It’s being said that Steiner had initially planned to retire at the age of 40, and that he was financially secure at that age which means he doesn’t need the money now that he’s 47 years old and has been earning steady money with TNA and prior to that with WWE. Additonally, Steiner has been working through a number of nagging injuries for many years now, so it seems as if all things combined signal that he no longer needs to be working for TNA. Concerning Steiner’s injury status, a wrestler once said in a past report that "If Scott has a decent, hard match where he takes five or ten bumps, he is feeling much more pain than theaverage beat up wrestler [and he feels it for up to] 24 hours after the match. [?] His back is so bad, watching him go through a 12 step process to sit in a car seat is excruciating.?

Also, ROH just announced they rehired Jim Cornette. I don’t know what position though.

Even though it’s pre-taped, I can’t wait to see Rock back on Smackdown. What I would have given for a live appearance though :\

I don’t think I’ll watch RAW this week. I’m positive Sharpton will be the absolute worst guest host by far.

Sucks to hear about Steiner, but it was to be expected. He has been talking more and wrestling less which was a sign of things to come. I figured he had been going through a lot, but damn. Going through THAT much just to get in and out of a car? :wow: I didn’t think it was quite that rough.

As far as what position they have for Jim, probably the doggystyle if he doesn’t get his act together.

I don’t know what the FUCK they are thinking by putting Al Sharpton on this. :wtf: I’m starting to think I’ll take a stab at some early bedtime this monday. I still hope ol’ chipmunk cheeks won’t be the new host for SD! Only if she wears nothing but thongs will I accept her, and the recent TNGAY cameraman won’t even focus on the bootyful people’s rumps for me anymore. :sad: Worse still, Angelina Love is no longer there. Oh sad and unhappy week. sad and unhappy indeed.

Just shows that Rock doesn’t give a shit about WWE since he turned to movies. He was a no-show at RAW’s 15th anniversary, and all he’s gonna do is tape something for Smackdown, the show that uses one of his damn catchphrases. Not surprised he has no intention of showing up.

lol he’s a permenant heel course he’s denying. lol punk did the same thing for a while…and then milked it for one of the most hilarious story lines in roh. lol i remember that heel turn when he got to the title and basically tried to make himself into trips in roh.

last night at roh was cool, JIM CORNETTE IS BACK!! only as some producer thing for hdnet. had an ok promo against austin aries but it got boring like always. He said he left because he wasnt 100% behind tna and not because he yelled at russo… or something like that.
I FUCKING HATED that there was people behind us talking random shit during matches its like if eldergod was chatting time a million. seriously especially during the last match between nigel and danielson, while theyre putting a good match they keep talking about how hes going to start on ecw or are you a smark??? there was also some cornball always commenting on every move someone makes:lame::lame::lame: plus since i was solo i had to endure it all. i did bumpo fist with bret hart though, only it turned awkward when someone pushed me and led me to my arm caressing his brown hair, he gave me the weirdest look ever:smile:
