at least as far as I know of he didn’t? He may have done a dark match at one of their tapings or something. but AFAIK he did’t.
I know Gargano worked a dark match for ROH. That’s it though. It’s also the match he found out the hard way that one of his legs is shorter than the other and got a hairline fracture in his spine. (ouch)
I know Sami Callihan/Crowe worked a few 6-Man Scramble matches and some tag team dark matches.
I wouldn’t constitute either of those as “runs” though.
Or maybe kayfabe Corbin thinks that ALL of these indie wrestlers came from RoH because it’s the only one he’s ever heard of, like somehow Nakamura will also be from RoH. Kayfabe Corbin thinks that there’s WWE, NXT and then RoH in a little gym somewhere in New Jersey.
That hacker gimmick would have worked if he actually used it as part of a real program with someone. He never really got that chance. He was just the weird, short, energetic guy who came out sometimes to job to people.
Yeah…he never had a real feud with anyone.
I was hoping that when Apollo Crews debuted, him and Solomon would’ve had a lengthy feud.
I still feel NXT dropped the ball on him.
He was wearing a damn one piece less flattering than bull’s. He had skin more orange than hulk. And the hairstyle od a troll doll. Dude looked like a fucking troll doll. His shitty look. His awkward moveset, and his omg dark character did him no favors.
I’m not sure what him and Apollo would have even done together without Crowe going 100% heel. Crews hasn’t shown anything beyond generic good guy. Not the right person for that program imo. Doesn’t matter now, Apollo is on Raw and Crowe is back in the indies.
theirs sumtin in that nxt water…right around rollins debut…that nigga upgraded 5 levels. lmfao. i miss him running around the ring jumping on like 5 people in a matter of 3 seconds.
the hacker gimmick was stupid. they should have just let him be his “New Horror” gimmick he had in the indies where he was just a slasher movie version of Raven.
he and ambrose as the switch blade conspiracy was one of the only good things about CZW.
As for Crews they honestly just need to give him a mouth piece. Put him with Heyman except don’t push the whole “Heyman guy” angle. Push it as kind of the Dangerous Alliance he had in NWA/WCW except instead of a bunch of scumbags its a stable of super athletes
