The thing is though, Kane/Henry/Big Show are for the most part seen as a lot past their prime after being on the main roster since 96 (Henry), 97 (Kane), and early 99 (Big Show). So it’s looked at as their job right now being to well, lose to new and upcoming talents to make them look better. I’ve never looked at them losing a lot as being “buried”, I’ve just looked at it and thought “Well, they’re kind of at that point in their career now, so…”.

Adam Cole is strange he can go weeks looking like one of the best heels in wrestling then go weeks not being able to cut a coherent promo and look awful. His last heel turn where he was still part of The Kingdom hurt him more than it helped, he went from top baby face in the company to limbo.
this. his feud with the briscoes when he was the champion was fucking fantastic. His feud with Elgin was straight garbage.
I blame Elgin being garbage for that
So garbage that fans didn’t turn him heel by booing him. Instead they were apathetic towards him.
His run in njpw is just ok. However if njpw actually does get Ryback, I bet he gets over huge due to actually being a wwe guy and having that look. And japanese love rhythmic chanting and lariats.
WWE is apparently planning more releases by the end of the month. Up to a dozen most reports have said.
The cuts were going to happen just before WM32 but they wanted to hold off on the releases for unknown reasons.
They wanted the boys and gals to get their Wrestlemania pay bonus before sending them packing.
