Even if CM Punk MMA career ends up being a bust I don’t see him returning to wrestling any time soon. He distanced himself from it since he left and doesn’t appear to miss it at all. I expect him to be an on air personality to whatever else interests him or go full time into comic writing.

Only way he ends up in wwe is if he wins. Then he can gouge wwe for more. He got the bus and the pay, dude was just a huge mark and wanted to be the last match at mania.
Punk would end up being one of the part time guys he railed against. I’m also not sure he would be big on flying to Japan for work, although the mark in me could see him leading a gaijin stable (not Bullet Club since it would probably be dissolved by the time he showed up and I can’t see him doing the catchphrases)
I think there is a chance that Punk comes back at some point. We didn’t think we’d see guys like The Rock, Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, etc. ever show up again. It is not going to be any time soon, but this is pro wrestling and we’ve all see things we never thought would happen.
WWE knew what they were getting themselves into giving her the belt so fast, and now again. She still has a ways to go, but they’re hellbent on having her as the face of the Raw women. She doesn’t have her dad’s aura, no matter what they do. Him by her side, her wearing similar robes and having the belt, the theme… none of it feels like authentic Flair swag.
Surprised to see so much negativity about Punk’s foray into MMA.

As questionable as Punk might have looked during the first half of 2015, can anyone honestly state that Mickey Gall looked any better in November 2015?
His stand-up is hot garbage, even worse than Punk’s, and his takedowns are slow and telegraphed, with horrible technique. Anyone with even 3 months of a decent camp would have easily avoided that pathetic, grasping double leg.
Punk might lose. But there is a decent chance he wins simply because his opponent is terrible.
The posts pretending Mickey Gall is a respectable UFC fighter are as silly as anyone who thinks Punk will win via GTS.
mickey is light years ahead of punk in every aspect of mma. punk is at best a high level blue belt…but thats super questionable since most people dont become super good from purely doing private lessons.

I saved the latest iteration of LOLTNA onto my hard drive. Reading through some of these reminds me of Ultra’s Omega Mode, only instead of getting the superpowered version of your favorite wrestler, you get the morally scummiest version of them.
