You don’t need a “full” theme for it to be fucking fire.
Enzo and Cass, Shin Emma, Nakamura, American Alpha, Neville, AJ Styles. They all have amazing themes that are basically loops but I’d happily listen to them for hours.
Vaudevilains got called up at the wrong time. They lost belts and became an afterthought in NXT. Now they’re essentially starting from scratch in every way.
But that new heel theme thoooooo…
It’s gonna be an all-NXT call up finals for the Tag Team Tournament.
Their finish is pretty garbage too, like the Ascension.

He has literally no established personality or character outside of being smiley, athletic black dude.
Honestly, I could’ve seen Vaudevillains being a serviceable face team with that gimmick. Not anybody to hang hats on, but at least there’s a niche for them there. They’ve got NOTHING going as heels.
Nobody is talking about if a theme is fire or not based on its length.
The point was that Rusev’s theme is their best work because it’s the one they put the most effort into.
What makes Jim Johnston a legend is his ability to capture the essence of a wrestler’s character or persona, and put it into a memorable theme that’s immediately recognizable.
CFO$'s catalog is mostly soulless loops. Both Cesaro and Rollins deserve better.
Vaudevillian’s really needed vignettes before they debuted either playing up their current gimmick or giving them a slightly toned down, more mean spirited version of their current gimmick to match their attitude.
Vaudevillans gonna be jobing VERY soon, which is sad cuz they’re pretty good
Their gimmick just doesn’t have a long shelf life, plus they’re from NXT, so they’ll be buried
They should alter their gimmick to Regal’s old “Real Man/Manly Man” gimmick, they’ll have a better chance
Vaudevilains haven’t lost a match since their debut. Seems premature to label them future jobbers. They’re clearly being built up.
All they really need is a storyline, something for people to associate them with. Right now they’re just there.

Tyler and Ascension are literally the only exceptions I can think of. Everybody else either currently has a belt or had one.
