Too much liability. If WWE is aware of drug use, allows a wrestler to fight and injures someone while under the influence it could lead to a big lawsuit.
To be fair, jobbing as much as those guys would require some relief.
I was moreso just saying they should be glad it’s pot and not heroin, I don’t think I was advocating wrestling while stoned. Though, hell, it helped RVD flop around like a fish after taking anything and everything and selling it like crazy.
Eh, he would be an effective heel or babyface. He literally could go to new japan and get a pretty big contract. Honestly, it is weird that he ticks the boxes vince supposedly likes and is over.
Unless Vince decides you’re the next face of the company (Roman Reigns), simply being large and muscular might get you a developmental deal and a short stint in the WWE, but no more. And even Reigns has more going for him than being large and well-built.
In Ryback’s case, he can talk okay, which explains his midcard status, but that’s about it. He is lousy in the ring and a huge injury risk to the other wrestlers he faces. You’re not getting to the main event nowadays with that albatross around your neck.
This is a moronic comparison, even by dab00g standards. Beyond the fact that it’s a completely different era (hey, neither Ultimate Warrior nor Bruno Sammartino would get over in 2016, and Daniel Bryan would have limited success back in the mid 80s…so what?), Sid still had way more going for him.
Sid had a truly unique look and awe-inspiring size. How often do you see a guy that huge who is still muscular and cut? And his face made him look like a maniacal killer. Ryback? I’ve seen juiceheads bigger than him at my local gym. And he wears a brain-dead facial expression that makes me think he drools a lot. The boring shaved head look is just the icing on the cake.
Sid cut a lot of good, intense promos. Ryback cuts some decent promos. As long as he is a heel.
Sid, while not a good worker, was not known for injuring others. Ryback? Well, you get the idea.
Lol the only thing Ryback would do in Japan is get murdered.
The first time he fucked up like he always does in the ring, his opponent would beat his ass half to death.
He should be content in his current role and keep working on his promo and in ring work.
He’s literally at his ceiling with his current skill set and microphone ability.
Emma’s got that implant thing going on where her nipples are way too high up. Still incredibly attractive, though.
That’d probably get him to clean up his ring work. It’s pretty clear that the WWE lets him be as sloppy as he wants cuz he’s a Vince McMahon guy but if he drops Yoshi like he did Luke Harper and gets stiffed for a year, I bet you he’s not going to drop Yoshi a second time.
If Vince would stop forcing him to read from a script and just be himself, Roman would’ve gotten over naturally a year or two ago. His in-ring work is safe and solid, and he’s worked well with everyone they’ve paired him with.
That, and despite the force-feeding they’re doing with him, Roman doesn’t prompt an insta-channel change from me like the Ryback does.
Ryback would improve in japan. But really he is pretty okay. I mean dude was able to keep up with kalisto and is passable.
Reigns is a damn good worker despite his character build. I think this heelish take is going to put him on another level. No way reigns gets a pop in chicago against aj.
Plus they pump in more boos for reigns.
The one thing that would get Reigns on the good side of fans is for him to give it back.
I mean fans started booing usos too because they put the dudleyz through tables.
If we see Reigns and Usos as heels with Joe as the enforcer. Shit pops off, fuck just have joe cut their promos for them about gutting fools and taking shit over.
